I had a bad experience shopping online but at the end, the staff at this location helped me and got my money back. Even though their policy is no returns on earrings. They were truly disappointed that they didn’t meet my expectations so I would not close this door completely.

I had the best of the best experience selecting my wife's present in Michael Hill Oakville. The manager not only showed me options of earrings and pendants, but took the time to explain me how they can be paired and showed me how they would look by asking one of the sales persons to demo them. I got to know manager's name-Mariella and the sales girl - Nicolly, who made me feel comfortable with the selection of my wife's gift. Super delightful people, highly recommend as go to when you need jewelry gifts.

DO NOT SHOP HERE I bought a necklace for my mom and after 2 months of barely being used it broke. They told me I have to pay to fix it even though it’s a manufacturer problem. I will never buy anything here again. Save your money and go to Peoples jewlers across the hall the customer service is 100x better.

I had the most pleasant and comfortable shopping experience in Michael Hill Oakville. For the first time I felt not pressured to buy and was listen to what I need. Mariela was amazing and very knowledgeable! She is the go to person for my next jewellery purchases.

I’m very saddened by the horrible customer service I received from the manager at this location. My husband bought me a beautiful ring less than a year ago and it’s now the second time we had to send it back for repair. As I waited quite a while to speak to the manager when she finally had a moment for me she was very dismissive, not helpful and then turned to help someone within minutes and while I was still speaking with her. The sad part is I actually wanted to buy another ring today but after receiving no help I walked away empty handed. I don’t plan on buying any piece of jewelry at this location or any other Michael Hill again.

The Manager Mariel is the rudest manager that has ever worked in customer service. She accused is of lying and instead of helping said that we provided false information although she told over the phone that gifts can be exchanged. Not allowed to give 0 stars. This store lies to their clients especially their manager. Never go there

This store has the best staff, Lina is great help and so patient because I could not decide for the life of me what to get my mother for her birthday, but she showed me many items she thought I might like and she was simply great help. I will definitely go back there because of her and experience!!

As long as you are buying something, they will be nice to you. If you are returning something purchased online, they will do anything to avoid that refund, claiming system doesn't allow. A lady was in the store while we were there and she also was not able to return her item...

Their customer service is extremely poor. They are rude and don’t actually care about their products after they’re sold. Bought the warranty? Doesn’t matter. They pick and choose what they want to fix and won’t offer a warranty replacement when the item falls apart.

I would give this less than one star if possible. Never shop at Michael Hill. The product quality is sub par. Bought a pair of gold hoops for my daughters high school graduation. The first hoop broke within 24 hrs. When we went to return we were told that it needed to be sent away for assessment to see if it was defective. A few days later they called to say that it wasn't defective and that the repair would cost $37 dollars. That same day the other hoop broke. The post was left in my daughters ear and I found the hoop on her pillow. I went back today to show them and to ask for another pair or refund. The manager refused, and stated that I should have purchased the protection plan. She reiterated that the first hoop was deemed not defective. By that reasoning I said that they are expecting their products to break within 24hrs? I said that I would gladly take a store credit. The manager refused. I asked for the contact information for the district manager and was told that she was on vacation and would not give me her contact info.Stay away from this store. Absolutely terrible customer service and terrible workmanship of their jewelry.
