Cool kitchen store, not a lot of books. Fun place to shop. Nice servers.

The owners and employees are very friendly and helpful, the store has an amazing selection , especially their imported candy. I love this store just because the service is so good.

Fantastic knowledgeable service. I love shopping there when I need something new and unique for my kitchen or pantry.

Stopped here on a trip to Thunder Bay with my husband. Cute store with lots of really nice kitchen stuff. Unfortunately everything seemed overpriced. Within the first couple minutes of being in the store, I was asked by 3 different employees if I needed help. As an out of towner, I like to browse. It's nice that they are helpful but it made me uncomfortable and pressured to buy something. Not sure if I'll be back.

One of the friendliest and most charming stores in the harbour district of thunder Bay. We came in as tourist and were treated as old friends. We got good advices for restaurants and for visiting places in the area. Their book and kitchen sales is exquisite and I suggest to take a look at their shirts and Basecaps.

The name kind of throws you off. While ther are books, most of the store is souvenirs, travel accessories, kitchen supplies and gadgets ... stuff like that.The staff is friendly and they do have some interesting items.

I genuinely hope the woman I dealt with was the owner, otherwise an employee there is destroying this business name with her complete lack of customer service.Back in mid July (July 15) I ordered a rather pricey item ($80 mixing bowls) off of a friend's bridal registry and opted to have it delivered directly to the bride, as their website offered. I thought this was great due to the current pandemic, this was a completely contactless transaction. The very next day I received a phone call from them asking to confirm delivery address and assuring me they'd deliver it that day (July 16). I felt great about this and told the bride to expect the delivery...Let's skip ahead to the date of the bridal shower, (Aug 15, a whole MONTH later) which I was unable to attend due to a previous engagement. I received a call from the bride saying she didn't want me to think she'd forgotten about me, but she never received the gift....WHAT?! How EMBARRASSING, especially when I wasn't present myself. I just looked like a liar!!Last Tuesday, I called Finnish Bookstore/ Kitchen Nook and calmly and politely explained my situation and was put on hold. This is where it went sideways. The woman who picked up my call from the hold was instantly defensive (I was calm and not upset at this point, despite the embarrassment and frustration I felt at the gift being lost) and said the package had been sitting there since I purchased it. This woman then goes on to BLAME THE BRIDE. We left her numerous messages and emails and I'm not Amazon

Absolutely beautiful shop with many one of a kind gift ideas for that someone that has everything ! The staff are very knowledgeable and friendly! I love it and will be back

I stopped here for the first time a few weeks ago because I had a long wait at my Dr.’s across the street. I received wonderful, attentive, friendly & local service. A great selection of quality local and specialty items from all over the world. Many from Finland = Awesome! Finn Mustard...yummmmm
