Georgina Leisure Pool

Changeroom design and layout is challenging with all the crowds of people. Warm air from the floor vents would be better when you're soaking wet. Acoustics are in need of updating. Staff always awesome and facility is always clean.

A wonderful pool plus hot tub and kids splash. They as well have a fun curly slide. Family swim and lane swim are open, just check the schedule. Lessons as available for all ages, check the schedule. Instructors are friendly and knowledgeable.

They offer aquafit and aqua stretch classes. There are lots of aquafit spots available but very few aqua stretch spots - call ahead to make sure you get a spot.

Really nice clean pool. A therapy pool and kids pool is available as well as a slide. Would be nice if the slide didn't lead to the therapy pool, but overall, great location!

I really love the classes that I have myself and my daughters enrolled in. Staff is incredibly nice and the facility has always been clean! Prices for classes are reasonable and pretty spot on for how long you attend.

One very big pool and a couple of small ones. Ample parking. You can even book for a free lane swimming per only $2. This is a public pool managed by the city of Georgina. Wifi is also available on the premises.

Excellent facility with lots of little amenities to help families--stroller parking, baby seats in the locker room, age-appropriate toys and floaties, jets in the pool, etc. Also has a variety of classes and designated swim times (parent & child, lane swim).

After looking up the the following drop in schedule we decided to take our two young children to the Sutton location. When we arrived at 1PM on Saturday January 25, 2020 we were told by the staff at the counter that we were early. I told her that we were there to use the therapy pool that clearly states is opened from 1-2 PM. They said oh I could see how you would be confused by this. The therapy pool is opened during 1-2PM during lane swim times. After I clearly stated we were there to utilize the therapy pool and how our one child has ADHD and the therapy pool would be awesome for her to swim some laps and get out some energy. Not to mention the father has a torn meniscus in his knee, as well as I suffer from depression/anxiety and we all could benefit from the therapy pool. Instead of accommodating or allowing us to use the pool the one staff very rudly said ya sorry public swimming is from 2-4. You can go to tim hortons to wait and come back at 2. As I walked out the door with 2 very disappointed kids. The child with ADHD was crying because she could not understand why we were not allowed in the pool. This situation left a very bad taste in my mouth. The staff at the desk were not accommodating at all. They had zero empathy that we drove over 40 minutes to attend the therapy pool. Additionally they showed no compassion that we were there for the therapy pool. Very poor customer service and definently not inclusive for individuals with disabilities and or illness/injuries.

Great pool for littles. The life guard actually walked me through some swimming positions and how to dunk my baby during parent and child swim which I thought was super nice.Only downfall is the program spaces fill up fast!

I took my 3 months old daughter for the first time today to the Georgina leisure pool for parents and tot swim. The life guards on duty were fantastic. The water was warm and at the perfect temperature for a young baby. The change rooms were very clean and easily accessible. They even have stroller parking. They have toys and flotation devices for you to use with your babies. A great location to introduce swimming to any child.
