INCREDIBLE Hot Air Balloon Flight. The most WOW experience over Kelowna for myself, my wife and our daughter whilst visiting from England. Our pilot John along with his wife Joy and two sons met us early morning before driving us to our launch site just a short drive away. This was our first Hot Air Balloon flight and both John and Joy were so reassuring and very professional. Whilst John piloted our balloon, Joy and their two sons worked incredibly hard as ground crew. The entire flight was so peaceful and just majestic the whole time. Our landing in a nearby field was incredibly smooth too with a few welcoming spectators which was really nice. It was an absolute privilege to spend this beautiful morning in flight with John who again was incredibly professional and also our time on the ground too with Joy and their two sons. Thank you so much for this lifetime experience and making us feel like friends!The Lodge Family

I am giving them a 1 Star because no one will return my emails or phone calls. We went up on a hot air balloon ride the morning of June 11th. We were told by the tour guide that there might be sut dropping on us and our clothing through out the ride but ensured us that it will be able to come out and not ruin our clothes. My fiancé dressed up for the occasion. We have tried multiple times to clean her new jacket she just purchased and even brought it to a dry cleaner with no luck of getting the stains out. All they want is to take your money for the balloon ride and then it is as if you never spent $2,000 for a private hot air balloon ride and were never a customer of theirs.

Unbelievable experience! I would 100000% recommend. We lucked out and had incredible weather, the views were stunning and just all around a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Add in the fact that Joy, John, Eduardo and the rest of the crew were an absolute blast to hang with. They made us feel super safe and were just a riot. It truly was amazing. There's not enough space in this review to adequately rave about this crew and the fun of going on a sky-high adventure with OK Ballooning. We will definitely be going again.

Excellent experience! 1000% recommended. Something that you should try at least once. Everyone from the company is very friendly and helpful making the experience unique. You can learn a lot about ballooning while you enjoy the view. Excellent plan to see Kelowna and its fabulous landscape in September and before end of October. You get a certificate. My husband and I went there to celebrate our 10th anniversary and it was a magical experience. We will be back next year.

This trip was my wife's dream and we all enjoyed the experience.Things to know.Don't bring your dog John the pilot is allergic.Balloning quiet except went the torch is lit scary for dogs and small children.Every trip is different but ours was fabulous.

It was a nice experience and the family that runs the business and the pilot are very friendly. The weather was perfect, BUT based on my experience I would not recommend. The ride was very short (NO EVEN AN HOUR and it didn’t go high at all. The reservation and confirmation stated “anywhere between 2 and 3 hours” so I didn't get what I paid for. It seems like the setup took longer than the ride. Also we were promised some photos by text and it's been 5 weeks and we are still waiting.

NEVER AGAIN. Waste of money, horrible communication. Ride was crazy short, didn’t go high at all and stuff dripped all over our clothes and stained them. Do not use this company!

The family that runs this company were very friendly and knowledgeable. We enjoyed talking with them and learning about hot air Ballooning. Safety was a top priority along with our comfort. This adventure can be enjoyed by everyone of any age. The basket you float is in about chest height and helps one to feel very safe. The float is gentle and smooth. Would definitely do again!

Okanagan Ballooning is owned and run by probably the friendliest, most down to earth folks around. My mom wanted to book this for her 65th birthday, and we were very fortunate to get great weather for our trip on Oct 5th. John and Joy picked us up right on time, took great care in preparing our trip, and gave us a wonderful, smooth and quiet ride over the autumn colours of Kelowna. We both felt extremely safe and not nervous at all - John is extremely personable and a wealth of knowledge and passion about ballooning after 20 years of experience! Him and his crew work very hard to prepare everything just right, and it's a physical job! We were blown away that after the ride, we were treated to a great story and a lovely toast and a light bite in the park. You can feel the care that these folks put into what they do. We had wonderful conversations with them, and they were just so friendly and kind. 10/10 would book again - don't miss this opportunity!
