Days Inn by Wyndham Kamloops BC

Handy location when travelling through Kamloops but apart from that a 0 star rating/hotel.By far the dirtiest hotel I have ever stayed at…dust that you could write your name in, stained duvet, microwave had food stuck in the interior from previous guest.Shown another room which was cleaner but still unbelievably dusty and had been sprayed with a pungent deodorizer prior to our entry. Breakfast room unattended for the 30 minutes we spent there and pancake/waffle machine had goo dripping from edges and mix and crumbs all around the garbage can right beside it…..only felt confident in having prepackaged things such as yogurt….overall a very poor choice for a hotel stay in Kamloops!If I could post with 0 stars I would.

Yasin greeted us upon arrival and was very polite, welcoming and friendly.Our room was very spacious and clean. Very bright and quiet.Pool and hot tub were clean and enjoyable during our stay.Great atmosphere for a family vacation.

As a nurse and coming off a night shift poor weather these wonderful people had a room for the day. Very grateful and very nice front end staff. Will use again if exhausted after a night shift and don't feel like driving. Room was clean and safe and bed wasn't too bad.

Our room was clean, AC was good. Toilet water was running after flushing and won't stop. Had to remove the tank lid and fix it myself. Breakfast was ample.

An affordable stay on a busy weekend. Clean, staff were polite, the breakfast was good. Room had things you need for a weekend stay like an Iron, microwave and fridge. It was quiet given it is near the highway.

Lovely budget hotel in Kamloops.Was there for a night and had a very pleasant night rest. The building is old but well maintained. The front-desk staff was helpful. As a bonus, they allowed us check out 2 hours later than the check out. I was really grateful for that.The only issue I had with the hotel was that the breakfast room was left unattended for the 30 minutes I was there with my spouse. Bins were full and the pancake machine was not very clean.I will definitely stay here again whenever I visit Kamloops. For the price, I had a very good experience.

The room was clean and smelled fresh.The staff were very friendly and happy to pet my little dog.Great location to everything.Good parking in the back which is monitored by security cameras.We'll be checking in again next time we are in Kamloops.

Subpar experiencePros-Beds weren't terrible-Rooms were spaciousCons-Smelly-Disappointing Breakfast-Inadequate serviceWe had the family room, which had a hallway, two separate bedrooms and a washroom. Each room had a considerable amount of space, so I didn't feel like I was squeezing between the wall and the bed as I traversed the room. Also, the beds themselves weren't too soft. I often find that hotel beds are too soft, or have craters where people typically sleep. However, these beds didn't have those problems.As for the cons, the whole place had a bit of a smell. On top of that, the breakfast was disappointing. The pancake machine wasn't working and the juice machine wasn't working. There wasn't a lot available and perhaps someone just eat it all before we got there. I went to the front desk to ask about it and I was told was that the pancake machine was simply broken. I was also told that the juice was just refilled, but it needed time to thaw. The problems with service didn't end there. The room was a family room, so there were three beds. But there were only two towels. Anyway, I probably wouldn't book at this hotel again.
