We contacted Nick on a Wednesday and were so impressed with Nick and his prompt quote that we hired him that same day. He started on the Thursday and completed all work on the Friday. At all times Nick was professional, courteous and respectful and it was a pleasure to have him in our home. Nick's workmanship was excellent with great attention to detail and was completed in a timely and efficient manner. Have had the pleasure of using nick and his guys on multiple occasions. Generally quick and friendly but always upfront on possible delays with drying time like this winters job he did.Went through quite a few drywall guys before settling on them and wish I had found them sooner.

Over the past year as a project manager with Amsted Design Build, I've worked with Nick and his crews on 2 large custom homes and several major renovations. Nick is organized and resposive, and his board and taping crews are the best in Ottaws hands down.

Had a job that needed to be done quickly, called Nick, he was able to come in within that week and finish close to 600sqft, mudded, taped, and sanded, in 3 days by special request. Did a great job, would highly recommend him to others.

BEWARE of hiring Ottawa Drywall Guys. I was impressed by the positive reviews too. We hired Nick to finish a drywall taping job that we needed completed in the next two weeks. Nick came to quote the job the same day and assured us that he could complete the job in our required timeline. We waited 6 days for him to start, as he assured us he could do the job in 4 days. He showed up at 10am on the start day and then texted me at noon, saying he had to go 'put out a fire' at another job. He never returned and then texted again at 6 to tell me that he couldn't do the job any longer because he was too busy. Why take on a job that you don't have time to complete? Why cause such damage to a homeowner's build timeline? Nick has caused a domino effect, delaying each trade that was to come in after him. I would not recommend him, he's not reliable and doesn't care who he screws over. Too bad I can't give less than one star.

I've used Nick and his guys on multiple occasions. They always meet time lines, always clean up and always produce a high quality finish. I would recommend giving them a call everytime.

I am astounded at the level of professionalism Nick and his staff have showed me throughout the years. I was actually bored and just decided to write this. I should have wrote this 6years ago when I first used the company at a big extensively custom house on the river in Kemptville.The guys on site were a bit messy and I happened to mention it to the owner in passing on the phone. To my surprise two of his guys were there early in the morning to fully scrape and clean the entire site! (half my job as the builder)I also couldn't help but notice the review from a couple below....far fetched to say the least...I'd be willing to bet that there is more to that story. Everyone of Hobin Built's drywall jobs from the birth of my company until now has been handled effortlessly by The Ottawa Drywall GuysHERES TO MANY MORE!

Nick and his team did an amazing job on our old house! We were able to get a quote very quickly and Nick was able to get our project moving quickly. They are friendly and punctual. Highly recommended

Been in the home renovation business for years, and have always used Nick and his crew for all my mudding and tapping. Accommodating on short notice when needed, and does a great job finishing as well as cleaning up. Great customer feed back. Have tried to deal with other drywall contractors in the past who are much more difficult to reach and return calls. Negativity seems to be a reoccurring action on other one star reviewers, a shame, Ottawa Drywall Guys are excellent.
