I was SUPER excited to see Spex by Ryan in Saskatoon after being a happy customer in Regina for several years. Bobbi in YXE is amazing- she can not only read a face, she can read a personality and find the right options. I was so enamoured I bought two pairs this time.What I love about their selection is they pull from designers in Europe, etc. who have high craftmanship and are ahead of the North American mainstream trend curve so your glasses will be fresh/unique for a couple years then (at minimum) current for a few more when mainstream optical brands/designers catch up. I have worn several pairs hundreds of times over the years and I still get compliments on them!The price per wear can't be beat, especially since many of their best lines have a standard price point surprisingly close to mainstream" mass-produced designer glasses

SPEX by Ryan is an awesome place to pick up some fashionable frames that you can't find anywhere else in Saskatchewan.One pair of glasses purchased purchased quickly turned into 3 different styles I never thought of even trying. But the friendly and knowledgeable staff there found things to suit my personality and gave me a kickass new look.I couldn't help but stop into the Saskatoon location when I was in town and I have to say, the new store is unsurprisingly cool, comfortable and full of awesome new styles to check out.

Hands down the best and only place to go when purchasing new eyewear. Bobbi will run you through the entire store, take the time to explain and educate you on the brands that they carry, and why they carry them. They seem to have a unique relationship and appreciation for craftsmanship and attention to detail that you simply won't find anywhere else. Eyeware is something you really want to invest in and have a level of appreciation for. These pieces are how you perceive the world, they sit between you, and everything else. To be able to understand the history, the detail, and the passion is one thing, but to be able to convey that to a customer while still building that innate sense of excitement is something truly special. You may think that this is simply just a pair of glasses, or a pair of contacts, but Spex and Bobbi at the YXE location are able to show you that it's so much more than that. I couldn't be more happy with the service, the quality, and the speed at which I was able to purchase, learn about, and obtain my new glasses. I cannot possibly recommend them enough.

Top shelf experience and so happy with my new frames. Friendly and generous with helping me find something that I loved. I'm a fan of my opticians clinic store but if you want something truly unique you will find it at this curated shop.You wear your glasses every day, get something that you really love! Would 100% recommend.

The selection of frames is unbelievable, it feels like you are in a large city in Europe, however the service leaves you feeling like you are in small town Saskatchewan! Very funky and fresh all the way through, I will continue to support and shop local with these fine folks! Bobbi is outstanding to deal with. Thanks Ryan for bringing a store to the North!!!

I heard about SPEX by Ryan from a friend of mine, so I thought I’d go check it out. The Saskatoon store is very trendy and well designed. I really liked the retro vibe from the decor and atmosphere. I was very impressed with the vast selection of frames. It was nice to visit a store that had a very unique and modern selection. I was helped by Bobbi who is very knowledgeable and provided great advice. I ordered the Transition lenses with a bronze finish and I absolutely love them! My new glasses came in exactly when Bobbi said they would and the fitting took about 10 minutes. If you’re looking for something stylish which is different than any other store you’ve been in, I’d highly recommend SPEX by Ryan because the value and service was outstanding!

Spex by Ryan is finally in Saskatoon!! If you're looking for quality, high-end frames (including options for smaller face shapes!), Bobbi with Spex, Saskatoon is Phenomenal! She provides top-notch customer service, has a wide selection of designer frames and makes the experience a lot of fun! I highly recommend Spex by Ryan, Saskatoon!

I was at the Saskatoon store — treated very well by knowledgeable Bobbi— she brought out many,many frames— was great in helping me find suitable frames— very caring,good humor— was a treat to receive service like that. Was a fun experience. Received my glasses today— Bobbi made sure they fit correct- explained the policies re problems. All in all— a very positive experience— highly recommended!

Love my new glasses. Spex Saskatoon has unique designs and brands that you can't get elsewhere in the city. Bobbi was incredible in helping me pick out a frame: she did not try to push me towards buying anything and took her time to help me find styles that suit my face shape. Strongly recommend!

Amazing professional and skilled service!!!Bobbi knows their products and can make recommendations which are truly helpful. I have a petite build and was tired of limited choices available (often juvenile frames). We found a frame that was ME. And Bobbi’s optician skills ensured my lenses are perfect.
