I had a really good experience with one of the representatives of JN BANK in Toronto : Madam Simone Thomas.She was ver helpful in opening my bank account. I did all the steps online. The only thing that I have to do is to send my documents and forms by mail.

Waited for over 3 hours for a representative, see below proof and still no answer. Physical in person reception from Asian Jamaican female representative was cold, indifferent, hostile and aloof. It was like I was an enemy combatant and then to make her implicit bias evident, she was warm and polite to the next customer and attentive, leaving me in the next cubicle with my documents. Selective treatment to customers and indifference on her part, I will never forget this discriminatory attitude from a another Jamaican.

First I want to say thank you guys for making my experience with JN Bank so easy and quick, I felt like i was at home. My fiance and I wanted to open a JN Bank account, and we worked with Shelli-Ann, she explained the process of opening the account step by step and didn't miss a beat. She checked in with us from time to time to ensure that we sent our deposits to our accounts, and set-up the online baking, and I really appreciated this courtesy, because I get busy with work, and her reminder was well needed. Thank you guys for effectively communicating, and always showing respect.

The customer service here is about 1.5 out 5Reps at this location are rude , not informative & don’t seem to want to go the extra mile (metaphorically speaking ) to assist , long wait times over the phone , and a very irritable call waiting que.Poor business quality overallI’m expecting better from Jamaica National.This company should do a quality inspection of its staff , services and proceed then make changes immediately. Let’s come back stronger and better than before JN !Until then I am not interested.

I write to publicly applaud the staff at the JN Branch Eglinton Ave West for their patient, kind and efficient service. They were the epitome of great customer service . I want to especially big up Alana Marsten, for helping me with my transactions . She went out of her way to ensure that a tech illiterate me, would become now savvy and manage and transfer funds from JN live account. Like all other customer service in Canada the wait time on the phone is crappie but once you get someone on the line you forget about being upset that's how good the personnel are. I went in person and all I s were dot an T crossed I never had to go twice my account is now up an good .
