I really like this spot as you can catch all sorts of great wildlife and scenery pictures. It could use a bit more attention with regard to sanitation and safety and perhaps some infrastructure updates. More lighting would be a great safety addition IMO.

I like to feed the geese and ducks n pigeons here and especially see the babies in the spring. They're all pretty friendly animals.

Doug Fluhrer Park is a narrow park facing the St. Lawrence River on the east, anchored by the Woolen Mill on the north and up agsinst the Kingston Marina on the south. It is named after a very well-liked and respected City employee.I'm at the Park once every week to work out at Focus Personal Fitness Studio in the Woolen Mill. We sometimes go outside to warm-up by running up and down the Park's Waterfront Pathway as well as work out on the grass. There is long retaining wall along the west side of the park. It used to attract graffiti but this past year it was the site of street art. I've attached photos of just a sample of the very interesting art panels.

Probably our favourite spot to walk in Kingston. We've done the waterfront to the dock almost daily for years. Delightful local wildlife, thought-provoking graffiti art, really really nice place.
