Excellent food and great service.All the food was cooked perfectly.The pancakes are humungous, you will not leave hungry and you'll probably have leftovers.

Food was ok. I didn’t like how a staff treated a homeless guy who was asking for water or to use the washroom. She was plain rude and yelled at the old homeless guy. It made me lose mu appetite because being kind wouldn’t cost you anything. She screamed at the nice dude who asked to use the washroom and even threatened to call the police. Told my partner not to leave a tip.

They serve a great home cooked breakfast and the service is excellent. The food was so good I forgot to get a photo. After we arrived they ran out Hollandaise sauce and hash browns so you know their food is fresh!

Great place for breakfast. The portions are huge. The food was tasty. Best of all the service was fabulous. Will definitely come again next time I'm in Nanaimo.

Service is top notch and friendly even during pandemic in a strange time when we have to show vaccination cards. ( put that in the review because one day we will read this in the future and say, WOW).I ordered the bacon, cheese, turkey melt with cheesy broccoli soup. I absolutely loved the taste! Tania’s was recommended to us by our waiter (server) last night as a good spot to drop in for breakfast on our way north for a walk.Our waitress was particularly chipper and great fun. We had some huge french toast and a very generous pancake with a side of strawberries and cream.I don’t know if Tania’s counts as a dinner but as Australians I’ll call it one, a nice spot.

Great little community restaurant. Usually go for breakfast as their breakfast meals are great… large portions and tasty.Friendly staff, good food, it’s one of our regular spots.I will mention prices but also note that everywhere the prices have gone up. Two of us recently had breakfast (a breakfast entree and coffee). Coffee is not included when you order a meal and was 3.55/cup (yes free refills). Without tip the bill came to just about $40. I was surprised at the cost of coffee even when you order a meal, but it seems that $20-$30 per person is the norm now wherever you go.Regardless, I definitely recommend checking Tania’s out for breakfast or lunch.

Today's soup was Creamy chicken cauliflower, and usually cream soups have me driving home fast from gut pain but this was delicious and made from scratch! Absolutely best diner food in Nanaimo. Service friendly, atmosphere safe and cozy.
