Originally I was hesitant about this place. It has longer waiting time; 3 to 4 hours. In my situation, I got lucky that I had to wait less than 2 hours only but would say that the level of care I got was exceptional. From the reception, they will tell you right away the wait period. The initial screening with the Nurse is quick almost minutes away from my initial contact at the reception. So I had to wait but the level of care I received from Dr Jonathan Yang is phenomenal! He is thorough, unafraid of Covid, professional and very caring. He treats patients like human and not just numbers. I know that you have to wait for hours that’s why I did not give 5 stars. They have to improve it but after your visit you will know for sure that the level of care is all that you needed!!

There are not walk-in clinics in the Richmond area. If you're visiting from another Province, bring your Provincial Health Card and they'll take a very good care of you at the Urgent & Primary Care Center. They're very diligent, compassionate, empathetic and professional. Dr. Martins provided me with the best health care service I could have expected! The atmosphere is very positive, professional and clean. The waiting time was reasonable of about 2hrs for me. Highly recommend it.

I have never had to utilize a UPCC until today. I must say the experience was excellent from start to finish.I arrived and the entire facility is sparkling clean, the process for registering is quite clear and easy to follow. The registration clerk was polite and professional, the triage nurse was real and relatable, even though she was obviously working hard all day she was still kind. The bedside nurse was just as excellent as the triage nurse. Dr. Richard Chan has excellent bedside (or chair side in this case) manner. Efficiently took a detailed history and did a physical exam, offered me a quick treatment/fix for an incidental finding that was not my chief concern (as well as appropriately addressed the reason for my visit).I was on my way out the door in about 90 minutes from start to finish.

I have been waiting for more than 8 hours to see the doctor , they don’t care any patients, they keep relaxing, just like on vacation. Urgent and primary care centre is just a slogan, or maybe their company’ name only. They wasted my time, better go to hospital. Will never come here again . 1 star is too much for them.

Took my little boy to the clinic and expected to wait for hours before seeing a doctor. Luckily there was not much patients before us so we just have to wait for around 15-20 minutes (but we saw at least 10 groups of people in the waiting area when we left the clinic, so be prepared to wait). The service we received was excellent. The receptionist was polite, the screening nurses were very friendly, and the doctor was super nice and her consultation was very detailed.

Wonder experience. Beautiful interior design. Nurses and doctors were helpful and informative. The lovely nurse took me to the drive way on the wheelchair. I had to come back soon after the same day because I fainted and they let me in without any waiting. Thank you all for your kindness and care. I pray that God further blesses this place :)

I checked the ER wait times before coming here and knew I would be waiting several hours before being seen. The receptionist was quick and informed me of how long it would take. The nurse who took my vital signs was efficient and quick as well and informed me of the steps to be taken further. Dr. Mitchell embodies client-centred care, and I am so glad that he was the one who saw me. Thank you Dr Mitchell!

Thank you Dr. Mitchell, and social worker Mr. Jonathan Wong, the experience was exceptional and touching. The staffs were all very patient, professional, and friendly. Dr. Mitchell was so nice, professional, patient and willing to spend time with me, and really tried to help me out, and helped me open myself to him and met with one of the social workers Jonathan, and Jonathan too was so nice, professional and helpful, I got a lot of help from the two today. Thank you so very much.I was told the wait time was in between 5-6 hours, and I went there at 12:40pm, left at around 6:30pm, I think I only waited for 3 hours, but it is totally worthy, and I understood why it took this long. Thank you very much, I just wish I could rate a 10 stars but google only gave me 5.

Many thanks to Dr. B. Hickie and the compassionate staff at the Richmond Urgent Primary Care Centre for their exceptional care during my recent visit! As someone who was quite nervous about having a bone removed from my throat, I was deeply grateful for Dr. Hickie's patience and reassurance, which helped me to relax. He even called in two nurses to assist in holding my head and flashlight, and the procedure proceeded quickly and smoothly.I also found the wait time to be quite reasonable. I arrived at the center at 11 am and saw a nurse around 12:30 pm. The nurse explained that there was some uncertainty about whether the bone could be extracted at the Urgent Primary Care Center due to limited equipment, and noted I might have to go to the ER. Fortunately, the UPCC has a system where they text patients when it's their turn, so I was able to leave and return without waiting the entire time.Overall, I had an excellent experience at this medical center, and I would highly recommend it to anyone in need of prompt, professional, and caring medical attention!

First and foremost, I thank the nurses and doctors. I’ll never discredit how hard working health care workers are. However, I came here after having stroke symptoms and they dismissed it as a migraine considering my young age. Had my blood tested again recently and turns out I have severe hyperthyroidism stemming from Grave’s disease. I told the nurses and doctors that I have a family history of this, yet after waiting for over 6hrs they told me everything looked normal. They also denied my AB insurance and had me pay > $400 out of pocket to tell me everything was fine, when in retrospect, things were not fine. The UBC urgent care, however took my AB insurance, were thorough in taking blood work, urine samples, doing an ECG, being transparent with what they were testing, giving 2 prescriptions, a referral to a specialist, and a clear schedule for my follow ups and remaining tests.
