I love almost everything about this place. Okay, so let's start from the vibe, yes, absolutely Indian, authentic taste, homely feel, and welcoming people. About food, almost all the time it's delicious. 8/10 times I got the the taste you'd expect from an Indian food. Try their 1) Shahi paneer, 2) garlic naan, 3) BIRYANI!!! and 4) Noodle samosa for a yummy snack. If you prefer a spicy, masaledar Indian taste like me then ask them when you place your order to make it that way, otherwise they'll keep the spice level low. There are few items that had a sweet taste in its base, which I do not prefer as opposite to the actual spicy Indian taste. Chinese Street food platter, and surprisingly Pau bhaji ended up being too sweet and not in an ignorable way. I tried ordering the same items a couple times but it's the same always. And my garlic naan was too burnt with a bitter taste to say that it's well done". However this only happens once in a blue moon

If you love Indian food - this is the place to be! Customer service was great. Each bite is so flavourful...almost overwhelming especially if you're not used to eating Indian food. I wish the water was served in a glass instead of a steel cup because each sip had a metal taste. You can adjust the spice level to your liking for various dishes.

Food is excellent. Specifically butter naan and butter chicken. They give the authentic taste.They maintain it well, I mean the consistency amazing.They have parking too.If you guys want to taste the authentic Indian cuisine you can pop in there.Quantity could be better, this is a personal suggested.This is the first review that I gave!Now I changed my mind once I spoke with this lady.I have placed an order on Uber eats for :1. Motichur Laddu2. Milk cake3. KalakandIt’s an important event as I have to go to a house warming ceremony.Now the actual event occurs: This girl from the resto called me and stated that she is not having kalakand and milk cake. Okay I understood, but the way she talks is so harsh and rude. Just a small way to address the customer stating that that’s my mistake of not updating on Uber platform.She says, I don’t have it and they are preparing now. I can give it later. I said okay, and she rudely replied like, tomorrow! What a kind of tone.I respect every person at the desk. But I explained the situation in the Uber platform. Now she says this. What kind of rudeness is that?She also states that customers listen to me! Why would I do that I have placed an order online and I was able to see its there and she says it’s not available and fires back on me!From the first time to now, my experience is 5 to 0.Now when I receive the order I got Kalankand in it. She stated that it won’t be ready until tomorrow now how I got??? Think guys. Strategic people.

Mad Over Spices/Kapoor Sweets
Tasted chaat papdi , samosa chaat , pav bhaji and street food style noodles. Everything was amazing. Tasted a perfect indian cuisine after a long time being in the region. KW region was lacking proper street food restaurant and this is going to be my go to restaurant. I am yet to try their non veg items and would be posting a detailed review sooner

I recently tried the sweets at Mad Over Spices/Kapoor Sweets, and I must say they surpassed my expectations. Their sweets are truly exceptional and stand out among the various Indian restaurants in the KW area. The flavors are rich, authentic, and perfectly balanced. I'm so impressed that I now plan on exploring their food menu as well. Highly recommended for anyone with a sweet tooth or a craving for delicious Indian treats!

Four stars because the food came out so slowly and the service was slow too. We ordered three mains and they came out one by one with 10-15 minutes between dishes… we finished the first dish and had to wait for the next dish. Also, the mango lassi took 15 minutes and came after our first main which doesn’t make much sense. The butter chicken is not great, I have had much better. I would really recommend the tandoori platter and street food platter though. The tandoori platter had some of the best meat I’ve ever had, I was honestly shocked.

Very good place for good quality and quantity. Loved the customer service. We were 6 people and Rushali helped us in every way she could. We ordered street food platter and samosas first, we liked both so then we ordered main course. We loved everything. Then we ordered rasmalai for dessert, so gooddd! Seen so many reviews about baadam milk, tried that as well, loved it but found a bit pricey, however it was worth it. Definitely going back or taking out!

This place is located in the bridgeport plaza in waterloo. This is one of the best place to try Indian dishes especially north-indian recipes.We had chole bhature in which the gravy is absolute delight and the bhature is also soft and puffy, but it could be cooked even more. The chaat items such as golgappe, pav bhaji are so delicious. Their chilli fish is also spicy and yummy. Will definitely go again.

The bhatura is freshly made, light and airy, with just the right amount of crispiness; paired with it is a generous serving of chana, cooked to perfection. Raita, onions, achar and gulab jamun are included to complement the dish.Apart from the Chana Bhatura, the rest of the menu is equally impressive with a diverse range of dishes catered to various preferences, including vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. They also have a wide variety of Indian sweets which I would highly recommend.The service is always impeccable - friendly and attentive staffs going above and beyond to ensure that every customer's needs and preferences are met. I also appreciate the attention to detail in the presentation of the food, and the use of stainless steel plates, showcasing the vibrant Indian culture. First time in this place and YOU have to go!We tried honey chilli potatoes, samosa, pav bhaji and tandoori chicken andIT WAS FIRE!! Those chai kettles are really cute.The service we received was so amazing and we will definitely be back again.
