Pho Tai Bac
You know how authentic a place is based on it's clientele. This restaurant handily meets that requirement!For food that's healthy, well flavoured and for great value, this place is highly recommended. And quick and efficient service to top it all!And it was open on a stat holiday too. Don't be surprised by the crowds. The sugarcane shrimp (cake?) is deceptively simple but full of flavour and depth. And the soup broth is similar too.Gotta go back for more!

Pho Tai Bac
One of the best Viet restaurants for a cold day. I always order their vegan pho, which is perfectly spicy. It's not a fancy place, but their food is consistently delicious and their phos are quite large. I would highly recommend this place if you're looking for Viet pho. Their take out quantities are on the smaller side, but when you eat in their portions are generous.

Pho Tai Bac is arguably the best Vietnamese restaurant in Richmond Hill maybe even York Region. There are many Vietnamese restaurants all over York Region but I feel they are the most authentic of the bunch. For one they are constantly packed which is already saying something. I moved to Newmarket and tried many spots up there but none come close to the offerings here. The soup base of their pho and other noodles are tasteful but won’t make you dying for water afterwards. Service is outstanding as food comes quickly after you order. Their price is also very reasonable compared to other spots where quality and portions are not up to par. They are a must try if you have no tried them before.

The noodle soup comes with piping hot and great tasting broth. A let down was that the fried fish sauce flavoured chicken wings were very bland, if not for the burnt garlic crisp coating.

As a repeat customer of this restaurant, I felt inclined to give it a good review.The threshold is low when you’re dining within this price range but the service is good for what it is. Cleanliness is surprisingly good for an establishment that has been here for as long as it has.In terms of food quality to price ratio, I would argue it’s in favour of the customer. For the prices you’re paying, you’re getting a great deal. They’re quite a small place and got busy when I was dining in. Service was still quite fast given that there were only two front of house staff.I would recommend this place for their pho.

We come very often. Just took me a long time to write a review. Anyway, I love the food here. My favourite is the steamed rice roll. Not a lot of Vietnamese restaurants make the rice rolls and they make them well. The broth for their Pho is also excellent.

Food was ok or at least average.For the referrence, I complaind my first Pho soup due to its overcooked noodle.Their service was not ok. I asked a tea cup 4 times however it has not been delivered. I eventually walked to the counter then asked a tea cup.

It was my first time at this location and I really really liked it! The food was delicious. I ordered pho with rare beef and brisket and usually at other restaurants the brisket is tough but the brisket at this restaurant was sooooo tender and absolutely delicious! I also really like theire deep fried rolls. The servers were also quite nice compared to other Vietnamese restaurants.

Very fresh & healthy food! Amazing customer service !So many options of food to pick ! Almost 200 different dishes & their Pho is just amazing. Very big portion! Lots of healthy meat & vegetables & very very reasonable price! I live in Markham were most of the Pho restaurants Are there but I always travel all the way to Richmond hill for this amazing family owned restaurant!
