As a tenant in one of their properties, I have found the communication to be outstanding, and any maintenance issues have been promptly addressed. The online portal for paying rent and submitting maintenance requests is user-friendly and convenient. Mr. Isaac Jones was pretty helpful during the signing of my lease and also in addressing any other requests.Overall, I highly recommend Portsmouth Residential Incorporation to anyone in search of a clean and upgraded rental property or rooms for students.

literally the WORST company ever. completely unorganized and any request you are trying to get will take weeks if not months to get resolved. I had spent 3 years with this company thinking it would be a hands off investment. I was not updated EVER as to any changes. the first renter I had the renter had no problem paying but as she would pay a few days late sometimes my deposit would be held for 30 days as the 'accounting team' can only transfer once a month. The problem with this is not that the finds are late, I would not receive any confirmation that the funds would be late until I asked. if i didn't reach out to ask I would not know there was an issue. My second tenant moved in without me knowing. I learned I had a new tenant months after they had moved in. not only did I not get information regarding a new tenant my rent was not increased and thy had signed on for a year lease without a rate increase. As i was trying to sell this was not helpful as it was now the lowest rent in the building. when this renter moved out it took 5 months to get the new renter in even though they already had someone to move in. there was damage to the unit that I was promised to be taken care of. I ended up fixing the damage on my own and was still charged a repair fee even though I did the work? no breakdown of why I was receiving fees. now that i am finally free (because I paid to break the contract) I am owed the last months rent for buying out my contract and have multiple emails stating with in 60 days the finds will be transferred to me. it has been well over 60 days and they are stating last months rent is supposed to go back to the tenant. even now IF i get to speak to someone they do not know what's going on and cant give me any answers. save yourself the headache and rent the unit yourself or get a different rental company. I wouldn't recommend this company to my worst enemy,. On top of the poor communication, impossibility to get a hold of someone and lack of organization. the only way to speak to someone is to email to a generic email that has an auto response and every time receive a new advisor that has to start form scratch understanding what your issues are. Avoid this company at all costs.

This is probably one of the worst companies anyone could ever rent from. Please save a year of stress and do not rent from them. They are constantly trying to scam you for more money. They tired to cancel our internet when it is included in our rent. Just to save more money. I have never been provided a single utility bill but constantly charged each month with random payments on their app. When you ask for any explanation or help getting ahold of them is next to impossible. If you prefer to talk over the phone rather then email please don’t rent with this company as I never received a single returned phone call in the year we have lived here. If that isn’t enough, they are trying to charge us another month rent even though we have given them 60 legal days notice. We paid first and last when signing the least last year. They will try and take all the money you have and cause constant stress. Please save yourself the hassle.I hope this company is shut down some da. Terrible what they do to their tenants.

Firstly, T4s, letter of employment, pay cheques stubs are all requested from parent of student. Then email sent saying they have secured accomodations and will send contract same day. Never happens and then weeks later they tell you sorry that the place that was guaranteed is now no longer available but they do have other accommodations that are more money and further from the school you are attending. They tell you that in person tours can not be arranged and you better sign soon without seeing the place as it is very competitive.Very very unprofessional. If there was a zero rating. It would be a zero.

Trying to keep us PAST our agreed upon rent term! We gave 2 months and they’ve been telling us we can’t leave and that we have to pay for another month. We cant afford 2 rent payments… we gave the legal abount of 60 days notice. They still try and get money from us. CRIMINALS.

When dealing with living accomodations in todays market, this will most likely be the most important decision made. We were so fortunate to find Portsmouth Residential. Not only are they attentive to what is most important to you, their commitment to travel through the process and ensure that you experience 100 per cent satisfaction is next to none. We were assisting our daughter in finding a place to live, and are SO GRATEFUL for this company. They do everything with excellence, and I will continue to recommend them to anyone who is looking for a place to live.

Worst company ever. They never reply when you need something from them. Still owe me money,.As a response to Portsmouth: This reply is the fastest reply I've ever seen in the past 3 years of dealing with you. I may consider changing this review after I receive the money you owe me, but you will not return my calls

I had family members rent from this corporationI warn you never rent from them. They never returns calls, don't provide a point of contact, charges that are unexplained to the tenants, don't maintain the property after many work orders being placed. Horrible landlords especially for first time home renters that are responsible and trying to be good tenants. Renters beware!!!
