FedEx Ship Centre

Applied to be a courier with fed ex and I was trained to be a courier in their training program. When I started the job they claimed that driving a 5 tonne truck to malls unloading into the malls on carts is a courier position hand bombing boxes and hand jacking skids onto trucks. I was told in the hiring will be doing residential drops but they put me in a different job. I had no issue doing the job but they wanted to pay courier salary for a truck job. $20 per hour. This job is $25-30 per hour elsewhere. Underpaying employees is their specialty and it looks like misleading candidates into positions is also their speciality.

The staff were helpful, overall a great experience. You have ample parking space outside, also the place is well connected by TTC.

Absolutely pathetic.First of all, dropped of 14 km away from my place. When I went to pick up they cannot believe in Picture ID, they need a physical ID for $40 order as if we are living in 1990’s.When I asked them what if I come tomorrow, they said they will return it by noon. If you can’t come package will be returned. Disgusted

I had a weird experience with FedEx. I left my home address on the delivery instructions but I got a voicemail telling me that my package was available for pickup at the FedEx Ship Centre. After I collected my package, I received an email saying that it was delivered. Although I appreciate the polite staff at the Centre, I thought it was unfair that I had to arrange for a family member to carry out the final part of the delivery (to my home address). Unfortunately, it would be a good idea to try another courier service like Ups or DHL next time.

Like most of the other reviews, my complaint is against the driver. I got a tracker for priority overnight shipping to be delivered 12/31. My husband and I were home all day, and I received a text at 4:45 saying there was a delay and that it will be delivered on 01/02. We decide to walk our dog so we leave our building and notice they left a slip INSIDE our building saying they were unable to deliver as the customer was unavailable. They did not even attempt to come to our door, they just left it a slip at the lobby and called it a day. Now I have had to wait, and since it is the holiday I do not have the option to pickup my package. This is truly disappointing, there was a reason for this package to be shipped priority over night. FedEx is known for their poor service and low quality drivers, who don’t even attempt to make deliveries. Especially if you are paying for delivery, it is really upsetting that you are forced to pickup your package. We do not have a car, and this location is really far for us to go by public transportation. What a joke.

Missed a delivery. The notice left indicated that the package could be picked up at the FedEx Ship Centre until 9 pm. Arrived at 8:25 pm and the ship centre was closed. Sign at the door with business hours had been updated to change the hours to close at 8 pm. The notice and website had not been updated. Called in and took multiple attempts to speak with a human being. Eventually got someone who tried to make it better, but didn’t even offer an apology.

extremely horrible experience. my package was delivered at 12pm on a weekday, why would you even do that, obviously adults with school and work will not be home in the middle of a work day. Second of all, the fedex headquarters representative told me that my friend could use a pic of my ID to pick up my package at this location as long as i authorize them to do so. Guess what, they said no when they drove all the way there to pick it up… They refuse to call the headquarters and said they had their own rules. The worst experience I’ve ever had with any delivery company.

Poor service!!!! I was expecting my package to be delivered yesterday but it didnt came. I waa home the whole day waiting for my package and i got an email from them telling that it was delayed. Then i call their customer service and told me that they had attempt to deliver it yesterday! LIAR!!!!

Came by to pickup a package. There is plenty of parking out front including a handicapped right infront of the entrance.There is a maximum of 2 shoppers at a time and the lineup moves very fast. Ensure you have your ID and door tag available to expedite the process.There are plenty of sanitizer stations within the small lobby.No issues with returning for future pickups
