Lakefield Laundry Villa

This has been a lifesaver in the last few months, it's big and in a great location. However, when I've gone there a few times, the change machine won't be working and unfortunately, the businesses around there won't give you change. I've seen a woman behind the counter once ( I usually try to go in the evenings) ... my son asked for change, and without a word just threw money at him.. seemed a bit harsh and not very friendly.Overall, it's usually clean and always busy... I'm assuming that's why the money machine is always out of change.

Wow. Jaw dropping. I have used this laundromat intermittently over the last 10 years but had not been here for the last two years. I have never seen a more filthy laundromat. I felt like I would get the things I was bringing in to clean even dirtier. I opened washing machines and could see animal hair and dirt. I rubbed my hands in the bottom of the drum of several washing machines and had grit on my hand. I opened the dryers and could see that they were full of lint. God forbid you drop anything on the floor. The floor was utterly grimy. I was there at 8 AM, which tells me the floor was still filthy dirty from the previous day, or maybe months. Normally when a business is opened, it has been cleaned from the previous days activity. When I asked the customer service person if she could wipe down one of the drums for me to use, she said sure but I would have to wait a minute. 10 minutes went by while she prioritized inanimate objects over a human being standing there.. Drive to another laundromat!

The machines are adequate and the location is as well. There is not an accessible sink to wash your hands etc and to the best of my knowledge its a requirement to have a wash station in case of emergency at the very least.My main complaint and I don't normally do this, is the woman who works there. She is rude unless you are an apparent friend or acquaintance. Any question you ask is an annoyance and she is slow to respond. I have seen her rude to many others and she has a cold and sour demeanor throughout pretty much everyday.

I wash my company vehicle 3 times a week at this place. The company requires a receipt for this so I get paid for it. The machine failed to print so I requested one from the worker inside. She should NOT be in customer service. Very rude wouldn't give a receipt. I go out of my way to wash at this establishment. Stay away if you require ANY service at all.

Extremely dirty floors and god forbid you need customer service. People working here are rude and short with people. Definitely looking for a different laundromat when we come to visit

We purposely wash in Peterborough now. Judith is rude. Have witnessed it too many times. Really sad it isn't addressed. If she can't be polite with people who know her why not give the job to someone who will appreciate it and stay busy. The place could use a broom. Like the gentleman who purposely washes his truck there and commented, why couldn't she just write a hand receipt? He obviously knows the owner.I was there this morning and a customer asked for help, she told the customer to move out of her way after the machine stole the customers change. She was really ignorant.
