Picket Fence Motel
Our 2 night stay was fantastic. Check in was a breeze with the friendly gentleman. Our room was perfectly appointed and extremely clean. I am an early riser and what an unexpected joy to see deer 15 ft from me eating fallen apples from the trees. The outdoor tables and chairs were dried before 7am from the morning dew. Attention to detail and comfort for their guests is phenomenal. Close to any thing you desire.. Thank you for an amazing visit/retreat

Such a lovely spot in a gorgeous little town! The rooms are spotless, have comfortable beds and everything you need. The staff is welcoming and very helpful. Love the seating under the old apple trees! Lots of great restaurants within walking distance. Perfect!

The owners were very friendly and accommodating under busy conditions. They helped us with parking our trailer and setting up our bbq. Room was cozy and clean, lovely firm mattress. A short walk to the Block House and beach/ view of ocean and tides. Watch out for deer, they are casual residents roaming on the lawns.

Amazingly clean, up todate, everything you could ask for and more. I should of spent my whole vacation in this location. So close to the downtown area. And a Tim Hortons surprisingly close. Please- dont let the price fool you! I paid a whole lot more for a whole lot less in other places. Best place we stayed during our 10 day road trip and will definitely we back.

Couldn't believe how cute and clean the room was. So comfortable and to be able to sit out under the trees and relax. As an early riser the chairs were dried and ready for me to enjoy my coffe. Did I say the room was extremely clean and service was unbelievable so nice and treated you like they knew you for years. I would stay again and have recommended this place already.

This little gem in St. Andrews should be on your list of places to stay. Here's why: Walking distance to everything (downtown, Blockhouse, Algonquin etc), hosts have everything you forgot (shaver, wine cork, wine glasses, trail maps), electric car charger (at no extra charge), very clean and modern rooms, and the price can't be beat. All with a smile and cheer - the people in St.Andrews are all so lovely. Stay here - you'll be happy you did!

Don't let the low prices fool you, this motel is clean, well-equipped, comfortable, perfectly situated, and friendly. Small town kindness awaits you here. We forgot a few toiletries and a corks screw and the owners went out of their way to bring us what we needed. They even added a few other things to make our stay more pleasant. Can't wait to stay here again. We will be back! 5 bright stars!
