Staff was ignorant of what suppliers offer, staff walked away while I was explaining request. Had to go directly to supplier to have midsole of hiking boot replaced. Arrogant attitude perpetuates ignorance.

The norseman is my go to store for all my hiking and skiing needs, so naturally when I planned my first backpacking/camping trip to Assiniboine I stopped by the norseman to get some new gear. Luckily for me, Anthony was there to help!!! He provided me with priceless tips/knowledge and got me set up with a wonderful montane backpack. I had the most fabulous first experience backpacking and I have Anthony and the gear I purchased from the norseman to thank! The items this store carries are top quality and so are the staff!! I can barely wait for my next backing trip and my next stop at the norseman! My most sincere thanks!!

If you need cross country skis, this is the place to come. Bought several sets of skis here over the years, as they have an excellent selection of new and used gear. What sets this place apart is the staff, they are incredibly knowledgable, helpful and friendly. Whatever you need , they will get you sorted. Definitely highly recommend and will be back. I used to have to drive 8 hours one way to shop here and still made the trip.

Norseman is currently taking bookings by appointment only. I went in looking for a new pair of hiking/backpacking boots. Pete was really knowledgeable and helped me find the best boots for my narrow heels. This was my first visit to the store and I will definitely be back! The service is great.

This is the place to go for cross-country skis. We walked in and within two hours we walked out with the ski set up that we wanted and it was specially for us we don't live in country, and they rushed our bindings. From the moment we walked in to the moment we walked out, the customer service was excellent! I'd make the 7 hour drive to go back here.

I was so impressed with their customer service and I’m excited to head out on my new cross country skis from Norseman. Emma was incredibly knowledgeable and she not only set my skis perfectly- she took the time to educate me along the way. If you need Nordic skis- go there!

Very rude staff. It's like they are trying to lose your business. They succeeded. I wanted a ski that can skate and shuffle, and instead of just saying something sensible like We don't sell anything specifically for that
