A patient who is referred from a Family Doctor for Cardiac related tests is in pain, anxiety and worry. You should call that patient on one single appointment so that after the tests he can see the specialist to discuss the reports right away. To me, it is very insensitive approach to ask the patient to visit again after few days to discuss the same report, which is randomly available to you. Another aspect that a patient has to pay $4 flat parking fee to visit your institute is very annoying and condemnable. Just watch, even the pharmacy on main floor in your building provides his customers free parking in same complex ,then why your institute has not made such arrangements. This shows the attitude, we are Doctors and Specialist and Who cares for these public funded patients of Healthcare?? Am I wrong?

after dropping off my monitor there, the public washroom was being used for a long time, i asked the rude receptionist if i could use the one in the clinic. Even tho i was a patient and i told her it was going to turn into an accident she refused me 3 times. i ended up going down the hall to the plastic surgeons....explaining....and she let me go just in the nick of time. how embarrassing. i will never go back there again.

There is no other facility I would want to go to related to my heart health. At this morning's appointment I had an amazing technician looking after me. During these stressful covid times I can't imagine what our health care professionals are dealing with. .this tech person was kind, professional and knew her job. She showed respect to me and I reciprocated in kind. Thank-you! Lynda

They wrote the wrong date on my first appointment sheet. They made a 2nd appointment but they never informed me. Finally I got my 3rd appointment - I checked in and gave the secretary all my info including my heath card. I sat down with 2 other people in the waiting area. Moments later the same girl calls out Greg something" ...she looks at me and says "you're not Greg?" I can see how she could be confused ...3 people in wait area (none named Greg) I go into a room to get my monitor...they explain it all...then I have to sign a receipt for the heart monitor. The name on the receipt is Todd Jones...that is not my name...they scratch it out and put my name. I question them about not knowing my name...they say it's ok now. During the monitor period I check to see if my recordings are being transmitted to the office properly...they say "yes" ...my Dr and I wait months for the results...he gets the results...."no transmissions recorded" They are incompetent beyond belief and a complete waste of time. A pretty sloppy office considering what they do. I just hope Greg "something" and Todd Jones are receiving the proper treatments...I may have to have someone look into that. Go somewhere else if possible."

In a world full of pandemic, where people are living differently, a clinic like this should try anything to help the patient feel comfortable and less anxious. I went to the clinic with a smile on my face, and I was greeted by grumpy receptionists. It only takes a moment to be pleasant. Heather did a great job being informative and with a smile. I was there for an ECG. My tester had no greeting, no explanation or description of the test. She told me what to wear and to lie down. The test was 10 seconds! She ripped off the sensors and said okay get dressed, you’re done and off she went!If you’re in a service industry, the most important is the client. I did not feel well treated that day!

The cardio Dr. contacts me Christmas Eve regarding the stress test He urges me to be careful and will send me a prescription  on boxing. He tells me that there is blockages and to be careful.One week later no follow-up no prescription contacted my family Dr. to get this prescription he said he was going to send.During the Follow up after my angiogram He did not have my file.  I waited two hours. He berated me about not having my medication list together even though I had one from the pharmacy however it did show multiples which was easily fixed when reviewed. However he made a big deal out of it. A friend was present.I was contacted by the pharmacy and was told the prescriptions I was given contradicted and the pharmacist took action and stopped one of the prescriptions. This information can certainly be backed up by records and by following the responses and reactions of what happened that's Christmas and into the new year.I was told he would see me in a year however that never happened.I do not wish to cause any trouble I just wanted proper and dignified assistance. Just because he is having a bad day does not mean he has to be little berate his patients.

I had an appointment with Dr. Brown, he was very attentive allowed me to explain what I had been going through and really listened and guided me through what he thought was going on. I had a follow up appointment with Brandi who did some tests for me and she was awesome. Very personable and caring, everyone at this place from the secretaries to the Doctors do their best. They explain things thoroughly and are super patient. 5 Star service. I suggest for people who have had a bad experience to try their luck at the zoo's of LHSC as opposed to the renowned staff at LCI.

Wouldn't go anywhere else for my heart related issues. Kind, courteous staff, from receptionist to ecg technicians, to the doctors. Imagine going to an appointment and having 2 doctors discussing your care with you. Appointments are promptly kept and the building itself is clean and modern.
