J & J Motel

This place looks closed and was under reno but nothing has been done to it this year. June 2023.. owner must have bailed

It was very pleasant and comfortable stay. The hostess Janina is a lovely lady, so helpful; the location is very convenient, five minutes walking distance to the beach. It was a wonderful experience, great hospitality. Swimming in the salt water pool felt like we were being in the Caribbean. What a blast! If we were to travel to Wasaga Beach again, we would definitely stay there again! Thank you for your service Janina!

Where to start? The staff are amazing, the lady that runs it treats you like a friend from the second you meet her. Btw, she also has a great sense of humor.Everything about this place is super clean, the pool is salt water and heated with loungers to relax in. There is an area to BBQ and eat.I wish we could have stayed longer but it was all booked up, and now I understand why.We'll be back!

The room was pretty basic, however it's been kept very clean by the owners.the lady in charge is very kind and pleasant, she spends a lot of time maintaining​ the place. for.us the highlight of our stay was salt water pool, superb!!! We.will be back

The prices shown online are fake. Every website said $75-$85 and when we called the owner/manager said the rooms were $140. He pretty much called me and my mother liars saying it did not say that. This was in November and the weather was unseasonably warm and everywhere else was booked, I’m sure they just wanted to take advantage.

This motel was exactly what we were looking for. The pool was absolutely fantastic. It was warm and comfortable. The room was satisfactory. It had everything we needed, fridge, microwave, TV and chairs. The ceiling fan was sufficient for cooling the room, but the air conditioner was there if needed. The room could use some updating, but it was clean.

Very old motel.Nice people. Convenient location to the main beach, pool clean (we didn't use it)Room smells like old smoking Room and I was bitten many times during the night. Over priced! Renovation needed badly!

Very quiet motel, great for a weekend getaway. Rooms were basic, with mini fridge, microwave and air conditioner. The TV was a little old, would not be able to connect anything to it if wanting that. No need if you're getting away for the beach though! The owner was very nice and the rates were affordable.

When we decided to spend a few lazy days at Wasaga Beach we chose J&J Motel for our accommodation. We felt right at home as soon as we got there. Janine, the owner was lovely. She keeps the rooms spotless and was always there if we needed anything. I've heard she doesn't let in the rifraff and it seems like it because the place was fully booked yet quiet and peaceful. The saltwater pool was perfect for the evening when it was too cold to go to the beach. We had to get kicked out of the pool each night we were there because we didn't want to get out come closing time. There are gas barbecues there so you can cook your own meals as well. What else can you ask for? I've read some of the negative reviews on this place. I am in the service industry so I know what kind of precious gems these people are. Skip their reviews. You wouldn't even want them as friends. We highly recommend this place. In fact, next summer when we come back to Wasaga, we are requesting the same room we had. Thank you Janine. See you next summer.
