Celtic Creatures Veterinary Clinic

Celtic Creatures have been looking after my goldendoodle Cali since she was 7 weeks old, and now she's almost 12. She loves them because they are very kind and gentle with her.

We had to put our dog to sleep and our original vet wouldn't let us be with her. Celtic creatures accepted us solely for a euthanasia appointment, even though they are undoubtedly past the capacity of what they can take in.They were so understanding, took time to explain everything, and did not rush us. The whole staff there was amazing. They wrapped her up in her blanket so nicely and delivered her to our truck, complete with a piece of tape that had a hand-drawn heart where her head lay.I am so glad we chose this vet. We still have a dog and a new kitten at home. If Celtic Creatures wasn't at capacity we would 100% be taking the rest of our animals here. We are so pleased with the care we received during one of our hardest days.

I know that everyone thinks their pet is the cutest or the best, etc., but everyone at Celtic Creatures makes me believe they share my opinion and genuinely interacts with all three of my dogs, when they visit. For this visit everyone loved Luna and it showed.

I can't express the admiration that we have for Dr MacIssac. If it wasn't for her and the rest of the staff, we would have lost our 3 year old pup. She knew what was wrong with him before any of the blood work even confirmed it. These guys are the best in town, the best in province. These guys really care about the animals first. The care they offered is out of this world. I have seen a few veterinarians over the years but none with this amount of care and passion for caring for sick animals. 5 stars is not enough. Thank you so much to Celtic Creatures.

Ya’ll are the best. The care and love you show my pets is second to none. From the moment we walk in the front door to the second we leave, you welcome us, listen to our concerns and treat us like family. Every time a conversation about pets and vets come up with family and friends I recommend you.

The staff are friendly, attentive, and make sure to answer all my questions. They take such good care of my pets during yearly exams as well as day surgeries. Dr. Hebert is so calm and wonderful to talk to. She puts both myself and my cats at ease everytime we are lucky enough to have her as our vet.

You fit Zoey into a busy day because of her illness, I couldn't ask for better service. You folks are professional and pleasant. You follow up to make sure she is doing ok. You go above and beyond and for that I thank you. I trust you with my baby, I have the greatest respect for you all.

Cruelty to animals. Took my dog in to be assessed. My dog was in kidney failure and they convinced me that this was because he needed to he fixed. They neutured my dog than told me he was in fact in kidney failure and was put down 2 days later.

A month ago (May 8th) my Himalayan kitty named Buddy needed guidance over the rainbow bridge. The staff were Grrr-8 considering we weren't even clients. They squeezed us in because this was an urgent situation. They welcomed us in, were considerant of our emotions and treated us all with such compassion and care!!! They made an awful situation a little less so and we will forever be grateful for all their support.Hugglez!!!

I lived in Cape Breton 15 years ago. I wanted to work in vet med and they were the only clinic in Sydney that allowed me to shadow/volunteer to gain experience. It's because of their kindness and willingness to teach that I am now a licensed vet tech. When people ask for recommendations in the area, I recommend Celtic Creatures. Congrats on 15 years of service and being AAHA accredited since the beginning!
