I live in the city and was in need of a stroller. I was going to take the drive out to this store. Darlene offered amazing customer service. She not only put the product on hold for me at her location but went above and beyond to try to help me find the stroller at a closer location. She was knowledgeable about the product I was purchasing. I did end up getting the stroller at a closer location and hope to visit this store one day!

i had an AMAZING experience with darlene at toys r us.she was the kindest caring person hands down in that store. you could tell she would be there even if she didn’t get paid. shes there for us moms and family’s. she was selfless and made me so happy. she was respectful towards my daughter and asked to touch her leg before she did. she is a hands down good person. it’s hard to come around genuine people who love their job. she needs an award or some recognition. i see all these reviews and her name is always mentioned. im floored by the costumer service. i wanted a floor model stroller and asked for a discounted price and another employee brushed me off, firmly said no and walked away…. when i asked her she was attentive and on the same team as me and was trying to get a discount for me and to help me as a young mom. i would go back to this location to just simply see her again lol. toys r us. you are lucky and should be proud to have someone like her representing your store !!!!

Used to go here all the time before, but not going back. My daughter changed her mind with the toy she purchased, as soon as we left the store, so we tried to return it, and they refused to take it back. Basically brand new unopened and they wouldn't take it back. Moreover, they started arguing with me how do you expect us to sell it". Anyway

Hi I am writing this review for the Darlene from the customer support department. We were looking for some support in understanding the right fit for car seat specifically for our toddler.I was amazed with the customer service offered by Darlene by making us understand the usage and also the install with such finesse with detailed overview and making us understand the dos and don’t.It was not a typical sales approach of selling a product but listening, understanding our needs and t providing the input on the right solution.I have visited different kids related store and Darlene has been 1 of the best sales personal that I have come across. Very nice staff, friendly and helpful. Extensive baby department. Overall items are a bit expensive, some toys and merchandise can be found cheaper elsewhere. Very clean and organized store. Lots of parking. Interesting that the shopping carts only have cart seating for one child instead of the regular two you see at other stores.

A one star even more than it worth specially (customer service) , he was so rude barely understanding his English and Linda the ( manager) shows up to help us and she stood by his side because she got the story from him and she believed whatever he says although she didn’t asked us what was the problem. Was very bad experience. Not recommended at allllllll. Unprofessional workers, and un respectful place. Never going back there again.

Not happy. This is the 3rd time I am driving to the store that tells me that items are available for pick up but when I come to the store, I am told its not in stock. Investing some money into a proper stock management database would be a reasonable decision to compete on the market these days. Its 21st century, time to keep up Toys R Us...Store employee also had issues remembering her last words to me that she will check at the back, but never did. Fun place but bad experience almost each time.

My partner and I went to this location on January 16th, to check out the doll collection, to see how it compared to Wal-Mart's and Indigo's. We had brought our own reusable bags, and didn't get a shopping cart, since we weren't confident we were going to buy anything. We were looking around when an employee walked by us, she then did a double take, kept walking, then came back to berate us. Despite us having done nothing, and there clearly being nothing in our shopping bags, she very angrily told us to not put anything in our personal bags. I had turned to speak to her, I promised we wouldn't be putting anything in our bags, and she very noticeably looked at the shirt I was wearing. I was wearing a rainbow shirt, and my partner had a pride pin on her lanyard. At this moment she clearly noticed we were a queer couple, and she very quickly walked away. I hadn't worried about it, but a few minutes after she scurried away from us, her voice came over the speakers asking for security. I still thought nothing of it, but my partner noticed a different employee pacing back and forth down the aisle, clearly keeping an eye on us; we hadn't even touched anything in the store yet! We stepped away from the shelves into the main aisle, and clearly saw two security guards keeping their distance, but still distinctly watching us. We decided it wasn't worth it to stay, they didn't even have the dolls we were interested in anyway. So we went to leave, at the exit was another security guard, and the same employee who had originally berated us. They glared us down as we walked by, the two other security guards were still watching us, and there were at least two other employees watching us as we left. After we had passed the employee and security guard, they followed right behind us until we were out of the building.I have no idea what possessed the people working to act like this, I'm not sure if it was queerphobia, a dislike for people in their 20s or if they were just bored and decided they wanted to chase out two potential customers. After we left we went to the Indigo and bought two dolls there, they had the ones we wanted AND the dolls were $10 cheaper than they would've been at Toys R Us. Not only that, the Indigo people were incredibly kind and helpful, unlike the harassment we had just received at a place that is supposed to be known for is fun and happy atmosphere. As someone who works in customer service, I will almost never criticize someone working minimum wage in a retail environment, however, there was absolutely zero reason for the way we were treated at this establishment. Next time we want toys we'll go to Indigo or Wal-Mart, it's cheaper anyway. And if you're young and queer, I'd advise not to come here, you'll be chased out before you have a chance to buy anything anyways.

Want to return something you have a receipt for that they still sell, still in original packaging? Oh sorry, not possible. Absolutely ridiculous. I’ve never heard of something so absurd at a retail store. Most places take things back with NO receipt. I had original receipt, original packaging and was denied. Never shopping here again. Also waited in line for 30 min with my infant.
