Best jianbing (Chinese crepe) in Vancouver. Much better than places in Richmond. Been coming here all the time for almost 10 years and quality just keeps getting better. One of my favourite places to eat.

The portion size is much bigger than I was expecting. The menu is a little confusing for people who don't understand Chinese however, you essentially pick between a crispy or donut-like wrap and then add toppings to it (in addition to the standard egg, cilantro, etc.) There also some add ons that aren't translated on the menu.The people who run the stall are friendly but if you don't speak Chinese you're going to have a language barrier if you have questions.

The basic jianbing’ pricing is fine. The options with added on are Quite pricey for the location and offering.Took a long wait and I saw they made one of the jianbing with the egg not even spread out.Asked for medium spicy and I did see them put on quite a bit of chili sauce but was not spicy at all.The fried crisp stayed crispy and that’s a good thing. Overall a standard jianbing. Nothing wrong with the one I got.

Situated at the Happy Ice House stall, Mr Zhang has made-to-order jian bing/煎饼/Chinese crepes. I added Peking duck to mine which probably was not worth it, considering the duck costs more than the jian bing itself. Certainly a hard-to-find offering that scratched an itch but stick with the regular jian bing.
