Tessier Pools (2000) Inc

A line in my pool developed a leak; my favourite pool company could not find its exact location (they were honest about it and did not charge me a penny), so they suggested running a new line (which I declined, fearing high cost). Instead, I called Tessier Pools, told them the situation and asked them whether they could find the leak and fix it (easy and fast, once you know where it is). They said yes, so I gave them the job. As they could not find the leak either (actually, they mistakenly believed they did, and dug a hole in a wrong place), they proceeded (without my authorization) to do exactly what I had told them I was trying to avoid: laying a new line. But rather than using proper machinery (as my favourite company would have done), they dug a new ditch manually, using shovels only (some world-class!). This of course took them (two guys) a rather long time (10 hours, they say, all in one day). At the end of that day I had to pay them $1859 (an average monthly salary). The bill included $250 for the leak detection (what a nerve to charge for something that was done incorrectly and proved less than useless) and $125 per hour (a rate normally reserved for using expensive equipment or highly skilled labour – shovelling earth is neither). Just for comparison: my favourite company’s rate is $100 per hour, they do things efficiently, and they don’t charge for their screw ups.

Tessier built our pool in 2021.No complaints.A job well done.Everything promised, was delivered on.Rick Tessier proved to be a man of his word.

Installed out pool liner. Been 2 years no problems, looks good. He needs to communicate a little more, but the job was well done.

Running stop signs in St.Catharines is not great advertising when you drive a giant billboard on the truck.

Rick Tessier (the owner) comes out and personally makes sure everything is always right. Fair pricing and great service. Very reliable and trustworthy.

If it was possible to rate the a negative star I would. Tessier pool revamped our pool last year. He started the job the fall before but couldn't finish it before winter. We had a safety cover and were unable to use it. Luckily we still had the old tarp cover and Rick loaned us some water bags. In the spring we asked Rick when we should open the pool for work to start he said they would take care of it. His guys showed up to open the pool and they dumped all the dirty water in the pool and took there water bags . Then we received a bill for openning" the pool! Rick the owner did not oversee the job. He would fly by and check on his workers
