The kids had a great time, unfortunately the big slide wasn't operational at the time we were there.

Nice clean facility. But if its nice out get there 30 min before open otherwise you will be waiting in line for a very long time.

Beautiful pool and friendly staff!

We are waiting on a long line up for admission, place is under staffed with capacity of 50 only, can hardly see 10 people in the pool, very disappointed with the experience, would suggest online booking and assigning time period for the booking.

Nice facility but poor hours for free swim and the capacity of 50 during the summer is ridiculous. They let a bunch of kids wait outside in line for 40 minutes before turning them down at the entrance desk. How about having someone outside to let people that they won’t be getting in so they don’t waste their time. How about extending the open swim hours during peak months of July and August? How about putting in more effort to get more staff.

I had a fabulous time when I visited the gimli aquatic centre. These young workers have been doing a fabulous job with such little staff. I highly recommend!!!!People need to understand that lifeguards can only watch a certain amount of people and that is why some days their capacity is very low. If you know anyone that is a lifeguard why not send them their way instead of complaining about it all the time.

We initially tried to go on Thursday, 8/4/22 but they only took the first 50 in line and then cut everyone else off without saying a word. We all waited an additional 30 minutes wondering if we would get in. Very poor communication. Called Friday 8/5/22 to ask if they'd be open for Open Swim at 4pm, and were told yes with a cap of 50. We arrived 40 minutes early to find out they were closed for the day because they only had 2 lifeguards and needed 3 for an occupancy of 50 (even though the rules state we all have to watch our own kids!). We asked if they'd open for 25 with 2 lifeguards and were told no because it would make everyone in line upset"....so? It's OK to make a huge group wait one day but not the next? Get it together for the months of July and August...even if you make it swim at your own risk and make everyone sign a waiver. It's inexcusable to have this issue during peak months...torture for kids to see it and not be able to go! Luckily Gimli Beach is lovely with a nice playground and they don't rely on lifeguards for occupancy. Honestly

Kids loved it, we had to wait a couple of hours though due to capacity was set at 90pax. But we waited and it was worth the wait. Either get their early or come around 5pm when the first half start trickling out.

Great park 2 good waterslides, lazy river, deeper end and a few other water contraptions for the kids, at 6$ a head uts well worth it, clean facilities with change rooms and grass area for picnics right off hwy#9 across from the rec centre.
