Clean, happy, not crowded, and they were kind to my dog. However, I did find they didn’t take my dog’s issues seriously or do all they could. I wanted a blood test to rule out something I believed my dog had, and the vet basically laughed at me and wouldn’t even try. It was just a blood test. They don’t like their judgment to be questioned. They also don’t offer alternative treatments to the most expensive options. I’d go to a more sensitive vet if I had the chance. They also don’t offer emergency care which is unacceptable in a vet.

The staff at Clinton Vet are so kind. They treat her like one of their own and she’s always happy to see them! Having trouble with our puppies leg and they are so caring and attentive to her and our needs. Thank you for always taking such amazing care of Rae!

They used to have amazing caring staff but not anymore. We had to put our family dog down after a long life. The vet over the phone refused to talk to us even though they knew it was our animal all because of a name change on file. Once we were there we were informed that only 4 people were allowed to go say their goodbyes. Lastly as my mother sat there crying talking one last time to her beloved pet one of the techs thought it would be a great idea to come very nonchalantly ask how my moms other animal is doing. Because that is exactly what a person holding their dying pets wants to do, talking about their healthy pets at home.

I think they're great. Good staff friendly. Very expensive. If you have a pet you'll pay alot. The price of the vaccinations are almost $400.00. That's a big profit for them.

Over the holidays I was out of town visiting family. I noticed a large crack in my older dog’s tooth and was concerned enough to seek veterinary care. I gave Clinton Veterinary Services a call and they quickly got my dog’s history from our regular vet and squeezed us in during a very busy time of year. Dr Sophie Farrell gave us a call and explained to us what they could do and what would most likely be done by our regular vet. Everyone at the clinic was great, if I lived in the area I would definitely bring my animals to this clinic. Thank you to everyone at Clinton Veterinary Services!

My mother was a client with Clinton Vet and this is her review:I do not recommend the Clinton Vet Clinic to anyone. They were our vet for over 7 years and are ok as long as you make an appointment and can wait 1 1/2 weeks. Our dog took a turn for the worse and needed to be put down as she had no control of her back legs and was not eating. I called the clinic and was told they were too busy and suggested I find another vet. The best they could do was an appointment over a week away. Our Nellie passed away the next day and I sent an e-mail informing them of her passing. The following Monday they called to see how Nellie was doing. After sharing my story with other people, I have discovered my experience is common with this vet. In the last two weeks 3 of my friends have been told to go elsewhere, by other pet owners, who were also told Clinton Veterinary Hospital were too busy to see their pets. One owner's dog was in distress and needed to be put down. The other two were very sick dogs. They were all told to go elsewhere as they were too busy. Both the sick dogs recovered under the services of other vets that cared and were not too busy to see new clients. The only thing the Clinton Veterinary Hospital cares about is making money off of those with an appointment. With hospital in the name you would expect they would take emergency cases, especially from current clients, but you would be wrong.

After waiting in the parking lot for 3 hours for an exam and for them to run a test that takes 10-30 minutes, they informed me to put my cat on antibiotics that she was already on. If they communicated with each other they would have known this. After telling them this again, they then changed their diagnosis which involved emergency surgery. If i didn't question what they said, my cat would have been sent home. Extremely unprofessional.

In the last two and a half years, I've brought in five litters of puppies for their first rounds of vaccines and physical exams alone. Totalling more than $3500 - I have receipts to PROVE IT. Factor in routine care, a neuter, a spay, and a couple emergencies, my total is an eye watering, jaw dropping amount.I have never received preferential treatment, a discount, not so much as a free sample for the thousands and thousands of dollars I have spent at this clinic... Only to find out, after doing some calling around, I have been enormously and grossly over charged - 100s and 100s of dollars.I've spoken to two other vets in the county, who are a fraction of the cost, and still provide tremendous care. I brought my beloved dogs to this vet because I wanted to support a local business. At these rates, who can afford to?! At another clinic, those same $3500 puppy shots would have totalled $1350. That is a HUGE difference and in today's day and age, that kind of money matters!I'm so disappointed that I have spent so much money, only to find out, too late!, there are more reasonable options. I 100% feel taken advantage of and will not bring my animals here again nor can I recommend this clinic to anyone anymore.Conveniently located, yesKnowledgeable staff, yes.WORTH triple?? NO
