This is an amazing hike. Moderate in level. Steep in areas . Just got to watch your step. Enjoy. Listen out for bear warnings before you sometimes late in the summer they forge up there

This is a demanding trail..lot of rough terrain on the outset ,but as you reach the top first section the vistas are spectacular,Carron on to the next Plato whee your conditioning is tested to almost the limit..travel between ponds down valleys and enjoy the majestic vistas out across Cornor Brook to the far snow capped mountains..,Circle the final pond to the trail at the further end where you enter the final leg that brings you to the top ,and sit relax and enjoy the views that lay before you...Wow..

This is a wonderful trail with amazing views. It is absolutely gorgeous in the fall. It has an extensive trail network that makes for a wonderful day of exploring.

Man in the Mountain Trail Head
Would not recommend without some prep. Very steep terrain and rocky areas. Hiking poles, water, good footwear recommended. Would also recommend doing with someone else and have some sort of tracking app with good battery life. Once and the top there are other trails in the area, so it's easy to go down the wrong trail. Search and Rescue has been up there several times to help missing hikers.The pictures I have posted is not at the top. They're still at least another 20min hike to the main lookout.

Man in the Mountain Trail Head
A great pay-off view at the summit makes this an excellent day out. The trail can use some better markings and maintenance (deadfall to work around is not particularly easy with a backpack). Multiple incredible views; multiple ponds that would be great for a break if anyone wished to have s lunch and hike it leisurely. Hiked in briskly at less than 1.5 hours; took my time going out. First half hour is uphill, with significant pitch in places, making this a very challenging hike at the start. Very highly recommended if you have 3-5 hours in the Corner Brook area and enjoy hiking!

Very scenic and such an amazing walk. It's a bit if a walk so bring some water and snacks if you wanted. But it is way worth it. So relaxing and calming.
