TownePlace Suites by Marriott West Kelowna

I recently stayed at TownePlace Suites and had a wonderful experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff was friendly and attentive, making me feel welcome and comfortable. The room itself was spacious, clean, & fully equip kitchenette with a great view of the lake and mountains. I also enjoyed the hotel's amenities, including the gym and the on-site bar/restaurant (Ellipsis 51), which served delicious food and had a great variety of wine and beer. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a good hotel in the West Kelowna/Kelowna area! :)

I recently stayed at the Marriott Town Suites for 14 days and can say I ended up unpleasantly surprised given both previous Marriott property experiences were all excellent and recent stays at other chains had been hassle free.The bad.Housekeeping in one word …..sucked!In 2 weeks, we had a grand total of 2 cleanings. GROSS.We had expected due to Christmas and New Year’s, reduced service, but had to lower our expectations to pretty much zero. After 6 days of invisible housekeeping, we asked the front desk if we were getting housekeeping. According to that individual the system said housekeeping declined. News to us. We said not sure why the system would show that as we would like the room cleaned as per their policy of a weekly clean ??? and their “refresh” ??? every 2 days.I have fixed the computer, she said.Our second visit from housekeeping occurred 6 days later.Had to buy our own coffee. Buy our own Kleenex. Live with overflowing garbage and a shortage of clean towels. All for a premium rate.The Picky PointsThe sofa (bed) is the least comfortable of all time. Great if you are promoting people getting out vs relaxing in the room. Body numbness set in quite quickly.The fan on the wall heater was so loud that you had to turn the sound up to 55-65 on the volume control every time it engaged.A very picky point was that often when we were leaving, the front desk employee tended to avoid eye contact. I am used to a more engaging front desk particularly when the staff is so close to the front door.The good.Suite large with great view of lake.Comfortable bed.Nice kitchen although no table.Personally, I will look elsewhere for my next visit, given the many fine choices in the area.

Recently had a Board of Trade meeting at this Hotel, close to where I am doing business, the lounge area for our meeting was the perfect size. This is a really nice looking hotel with great staff, amenities and the bar service was fantastic. Great time had by all. Would recommend highly for future business and personal meet-ups! Well done. This place exceeded our expectations. It's clean, they have a duvet on the bed, they have those things on the windows to block light coming in the side of the blinds. They have Alice +Co shampoo, conditioner and body wash in full size bottles in the shower. Our kitchenette was awesome! Microwave, dishwasher, fridge, everything! Big flat screen TV. Adjustable thermostat/aircon. The free breakfast is hot food and it's good! They have complimentary tea and coffee in the lobby just all day long. The gym is very new and clean with a weight bench and dumb bells up to 50lbs. 3 exercise balls, mats, 2 treadmills an elliptical and recumbent bike. They had some new fangled weight station that had a bazillion exercises you could do on it including pull ups, cable rows, and other things I don't know the name of. Check-in was fast and simple. I would recommend this place for sure and I would definitely stay here again.

If you're looking for a spot to stay, I would highly recommend this be a top choice. Suites are very well laid out and comfortable, complimentary breakfast was well-above what you'd usually receive, and the staff were great.

Very nice hotel. Loved the rooms. Had everything we could need and more. Front desk staff were fabulous. Nice treat with the cookies out at the front desk and having lemon water out consistently. One small issue with not being able to regulate the temp in our room but likely our own challenge.

The hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. Our studio room with a beautiful lake view was equipped with a kitchenette, complete with a large fridge, small dishwasher, two electric burner stove, coffee maker, toaster, and impeccably clean dishes and kitchen linens! Although we didn't utilize the kitchen equipment during our stay, we were pleasantly surprised and would consider using it on our next visit to Kelowna. The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean and remarkably quiet. As pet owners, we usually have lower expectations when it comes to pet-friendly hotel rooms, but this hotel proved to be an exception. We were thrilled to find a pet-friendly room that was also appealing and well-maintained. Without a doubt, we will choose to stay at this hotel whenever we return to Kelowna.

One of the best hotels I've stayed in! Pet friendly, kitchenette and awesome staff and breakfast. They even include things like: dishwasher pods, paper towel, dish soap and sponge! The icing on the cake was the bag of cat toys and treats I was given upon my arrival. Can't recommend enough. 10/10 definitely stay here!

Even though there were several teams staying at same time and pool was super popular/busy. The staff were amazing keeping everyone safe. Great customer service, amenities and with all the teams it was quiet as well.Room and view was awesome!
