Unfortunately we didn't get here in time to go inside on a weekend. But the property itself although small was very cute. The surrounding area was also scenic and I was happy to have stopped here nonetheless.

Located at the intersection in New London, the birthplace home is a very small house on a small lot but there is a sizeable parking lot adjacent. The staff are well informed. Down the hill is a small fishing port and an oyster nursery site.The Kindred Spirit shop adjacent is not a not of the birthplace site.

Interesting place for die-hard L.M. Montgomery fans, but is quite small. On the bright side, if you don't have much time, this can be a pretty quick stop as you explore PEI. Maude was born there but didn't actually live there for much of her life. Cute little house and good price (under $5 per person) for the tour and the host gives a bit of history about L.M. Montgomery.

Visiting the home of Lucy M Montgomery is a treat, particularly those who are fans of this author. The home is filled with a lot of personal belongings as well as period related items. A few of her original books are there. And there is some interesting history as well. Of course a small gift shop in the entry.

What a sweet surprise. This one is nice to visit. There is even a craft shop with coffee next to it. Very few people around. There are so many other Anne of Green Gables sites to visit around the island.
