Singing Lessons with Erin Fisher

Erin is an absolutely phenomenal singing teacher! I was a complete beginner starting out, but Erin made me feel comfortable with my voice from the get-go. I’ve seen and felt so much improvement in the 11 months I’ve been working with her, and she has been nothing but supportive and encouraging throughout.Not only is she very passionate about singing, but she also has a deep understanding of the mechanics and theory behind singing well and is able to easily explain why I might be struggling with something and how I can work towards fixing it. Erin is such a delight to work with, and I always have SO much fun during the lessons! :)

Erin Fisher is one of the most encouraging, hard-working, and exciting people I've had the pleasure of working with.She began teaching me in my first year of highschool. This was at the height of my teenage insecurities. I was always afraid of looking foolish and making mistakes, especially in front of my peers. Erin always kept a gentle hand and guided me towards becoming a better musician. I've learned that I've grown because of my mistakes, instead of inspite of them. Her lack of judgement in this journey has helped me grow, not only as an musician, but as an individual.Erin's work-ethic is best described in the fine details that I missed at first glance. There is always water in her studio room. I was taught to mark the pages in my book(s) for the adjudicator to find. She takes the time to learn her students' music well-enough to suggest phrasing. Not to mention the various sound files she records in order to better her students' learning processes as best she can. All of these details come together to showcase a thoughtful and hard-working individual.Finally, Erin's laughter is contagious, with her energy akin to a child going to school for the first time. There have been days where I've been feeling low and my interaction with Erin is the first of the day. She never fails to bring a smile on my face, despite any lingering sleepiness or guilt. Sometimes there is fustration during my lessons, but it's always with the intention that she wants the best for me. She asks me to recognize and understand what it is that I'm doing as a musician. That curiousity and excitement for learning has caused me to change for the better.Keep up the good work Erin!

Erin Fisher is an incredible, talented Singing Teacher. My daughter has been working with Erin over the last few years. You truly never know what a great music teacher is supposed to be until you actually find one. Erin Fisher has taken my daughter under her wing and has progressed her beyond what any other teacher in the past could achieve. Under Erin’s guidance and leadership my daughter has being fortunate to experience multiple winning competitions and is participating in this years Provincials Musical Festival in June. Not only is she highly qualified and one of the best in her field, but she has an ability like no other to explain and teach what is challenging in a way that her students can understand. There is no doubt that Erin will unlock all your potential and more. Erin’s great personality, patience, and musical understanding creates the perfect combination for a fantastic teacher.

My 9 year old daughter has been singing with Erin for about 3 years now, and has come a long way since she started. Erin is always enthusiastic and encouraging in providing excellent voice training and singing practice, to a wide variety of age groups and individuals. Erin has improved my daughter’s notes, control and confidence to sing in public. Highly recommend!!

Erin has enabled me to surpass my goals and expectations. She makes learning funny and hard concepts easier to understand. Why I don't believe I will become a famous singer, she has definitely made me a better singer and brings out my potential.

Erin is an amazing, helpful, kind, and caring singing teacher. She cares so much about her students and has always strived to do everything she can to help me with all my goals such as competing at singing festivals.I've been singing with her since I was ten years old (almost eight years now!) and it's been such an exciting journey to be able to see exponential growth and improvements in my voice and performances.The synergy of Erin's lovable personality and her professional and effective approach to teaching makes her the best singing teacher out there!
