Motel Vue Belvédère

The room (mountain/river view) was extremely outdated. Old furniture, room smelled damp/moist. No airconditioning and on top of that about 35 (!) flies we had to kill. They kept coming in from somewhere although the door had a musquito door. We taped the holes with scotchtape,which finally resulted in flies not coming in any longer. Chord of coffee machine was too short to plug in, so we had to unplug one of the lamps from a very wiggly wallpower outlet. The room does not deserve one star. The bed was cranky and old, and, there was mold in the sink's overflow hole. I will not recommend this motel at all. Better go to Chez Sam" just across the river. It was the worst experience duringy vacation. Overpriced with $200 per night."

I was given a free upgrade upon arrival and enjoyed an ocean view room, perfect for whale watching. Great customer service in French and English. Very clean and comfortable.

We got upgraded to ocean view room rather than garden view! Also, lots of towels in the bathroom, which is always a bonus! Fantastic service

Stayed July 03rd, 2023. Front service manager was great. Even upgraded me to a river view. Room was very clean and looked like it was recently updated. No complaints. Pool looked nice and inviting, will enjoy next time.

Disliked · Due to ferry cancellations and dangerous driving conditions as it was night time and heavy rain cancelled to drive to hotel and stay midway to Quebec city the owner charged me full amount and refused to refund anything very dishonest owner.Stay away from this motel.

Basic room with amazing view!The room is basic and older but have everything you need. We had a room with view of the river - the view is beautiful and we were able to enjoy our coffee on the balcony in the morning facing the water (didn’t have a coffee machine in room).The pool is nice. The spa was a nice option at night to relax and enjoy the view.The person at the reception was very helpful and pleasant. He answered all our questions and gave us good information and recommendations around the area.Location was good.Price was a bit high for the outdated room, no extras, no coffee and very basic soap and a little plastic envelope of shampoo. I find that for $200 per night it could be better.Place was clean.*** we stayed a second night in one of the room beside the reception (it was 50$ more/night). The room was very nice and spacious. The quality was way better - renovated room, comfortable beds & duvet and more space (2 queen beds with a sofa bed). We also had a mini fridge, coffee machine with coffee for the morning, and a sitting area for breakfast. There was a big balcony facing the river - beautiful! Rooms a way nicer but you do have the main road (cars going to the ferry that passes in front) but it didn’t bother us.****pictures are the second room that we stayed in (#23)

Good property. Neat and clean. Rooms are very big. Property owners are very kind and helpful people. Back side of motel have access to a RV compound that is an experience in itself. It opens on St Lawrence river. View of river is magnificent. We used to spent whole evening sitting and drinking.

Spent the night there traveling with family. The view from the balcony is wonderful. Friendly staff, check in went smoothly and quick. Parking is available and easy. My neighbors were making too much noise and we could hear much of it. Power plugs are not really conveniently located around the room. No microwave available. It's ok to spend a night or two depending on your tolerance to noise.

Great location, awesome view, rooms are good, price is reasonable. Nearby to many good sites. Shower is perfect pressure.
