Sitar is amazing place! As soon as I entered here, I felt like I’m in India ahah. Indian music and decoration added to the exotic atmosphere.Needless to say, foods were also great! Will definitely visit again soon:)

A great experience for this style of restaurant. The service was great and the food was flavourful. They have hefty portions and it’s definitely worth a visit, especially for a family outing. If you enjoy the ‘mom and pop’ style restaurants, especially Indian, this place is for you.

Ordered paneer tikka masala, and garlic naan. Curry didn’t come with rice like other restaurants. Garlic naan is soggy and expensive. Whatever they might claim this to be, it is not paneer tikka masala. Plus its really really oily.

Hands-down the best food I’ve had in a very long time! Fresh, authentic and excellent service. Spice level was fabulous, not overwhelming, but just right. I highly recommend this place.

First time here. The food is on the expensive side but the lady who served us was friendly and very helpful. The inside is a bit dark and I would have preferred more light and for it to be a bit more modern. The pakoras and mango Lassi were great. The food in general I would rate as ok. I ordered vegetarian food and there was an ample choice of dishes. We were a large group and everyone seemed to have enjoyed the food. The Gulab jamuns were nice. I would have preferred paying for them by piece. The serving portion was of 3 Gulab jamuns a plate and the price was really quite high at over 7 dollars. It's a bit hard for a single person or a couple to eat 3 . I thought that was odd. An ok place in general.

I really liked this restaurant. Love how it’s been operating in the same spot for like over 20 years, if not more. Their vegetarian samosas were simply the best; also really loved the vegetable lentil soup. The cheese naan was also pretty good. Servers were very nice and friendly and the overall atmosphere is lovely. A little old maybe, a Reno would have been nice, but overall its a great stop over for an authentic Indian cuisine if you don’t mind the atmosphere being a bit oldish.

Delicious and far lighter than other versions of the same dishes we typically order at home. We particularly enjoyed the delightful pompadum, Samosas (both meat and vegetable, the dough was so much lighter than we typically experience in the best of ways), the sitar platter, and Chana Masala. I found it noteworthy that our server did not ask for a heat level for each dish. They were perfectly balanced and had a nice level of heat. I've also never liked aloogobi until tonight. Well done! Family run, and you can taste the love.

This is still one of the best pakora places in town. They also have great butter chicken. Lots of GF options
