I'll be honest, when we were looking for a new place to rent, we were hesitant as we had not heard great things about the company I'm the past and the reviews they have aren't all good.We have been with them coming up on four months and there have been a few issues with our rental (some quite major) and Sterling has been extremely prompt in addressing and dealing with everything. Even over this holiday week when most companies have their phones off.No complaints here.

DO NOT go through Sterling for ANY type of property rentals. I went through these guys unfortunately not realizing the shadiness of their business. I rented a place through them, and had to fight to get my money back. They tried to keep my damage deposit, until we wrote them a letter threatening to go to the Tenant Agency. Couldn't even stay in the place, it was so filthy!I have know idea how they are still in business!I had to give them one star to be able to post this, but they don't deserve any!

Thank you to all the ladies at Sterling. You took my many calls and went above and beyond to help me. After 2 rough weeks of moving my family across the continent your kindness brought me to tears. You were all helpful last year and this year again. Every time I have had anything that needs to be taken care of by maintenance you ladies made sure it was done within 24 hours. I couldn’t sign into my account so I’m using my husband’s. Thank you so much for your kindness and compassion. It is appreciated more than I can put into words.

This is such a terrible company to deal with. They allowed a tenant to take a whole appliance from my property while they were in charge and when I brought this to their attention they told me to replace it, then I would be reimbursed. I replaced the appliance and was never reimbursed. Then on top of that, they sent contractors after me for bills that I already paid them for! For a company that specializes in management one would think that they could manage their own finances better and keep track of their own bills that need to be paid. I would highly recommend that you do not give them your business, as a tenant or as an owner.Edit: After all of this, the only results that I seem to get are when I post reviews publicly. So far they have found their accounting error with the contractor and apologized, but in regards to getting a refund for the appliance I have only been given an amazon gift card in restitution. It's a nice gesture but it does not account for a whole stolen appliance. They won't refund me still because I didn't have photos of it being in the house, they had photos but can't seem to find them when it became convenient for them to lose those photos. They even noted the appliance was there in their inspections. They charge you to manage your property but they want you to do their job for them. Again, I would recommend that you do not deal with this company.

Krista Thompson is by far the best landlord I’ve ever had. Not only did she help navigate me through tough situations, but also worked with me to not leave me high and dry. I would highly recommend using her for any property rentals.

If you want a bad rental experience and get scammed out of your damage deposit rent from Sterling !!!!!

a horrible and unprofessional property management business. They do not follow proper rules or procedures..they do not do anything correct or legally..If you use these guys be prepared to have to fight for anything you need or are entitled too..they give misdirection and will say anything to get you out of the office. I am currently involving the tenants board in order to force them to do what they should legally be doing.They are also are hiring for maintainance but how they conduct business is a joke and I would hate to have need to deal with these clowns on a daily basis for work..un professional and irresponsible..easy to see that they do not care about their business, people or the slums the rent out.

These little girl brigades are patheticI was told i have until the 6th of the month before im late on my rentI have been renting from this sad excuse of a rental agency for all in all 8-10 yearsThe first time i was late so I could put my money towards supreme court for my childI told the little girls that at the desk3-5 days before the 1rst of the monthThe 2nd of the month i got an email of late rentFirst ever ive gottenThen i was informed to pay with in 5 days or move out in 10I expected 10 days to pay my rent which is what they told meInstead 5I was told late on the 6thThey changed it to the 1rstWhat a jokeI knew they were the lowestThis is a new low for even them
