Not impressed what-so-ever with this location... only reason I have dealt with them after 2 bad experiences in the beginning was because I have dealt with Phil - which has gone above and beyond! when he is not there (for example recently on a bit of a vacation... the place is not worth dealing with what-so-ever!- i'm actually surprised that they are still running considering he has been gone on vacation for a while...)I have been dealing with many vendors for years now for both my own company and my client's company and never have I encountered a vendor like this one!Besides completely rude and entitled behaviour, i am appalled that along with their disrespectful behaviour their prices are way more than Home Depot public pricing!! (IE. I had asked them for the cost on an item that I have been getting from Home Depot due to convenience and while Home Depot is $4 and something to the public, Wolseley's original cost is $6 and something! They agreed to a cost a few cents below customer cost at home depot - but when I asked them to beat my contractor pricing by like 2 cents (all i was asking for was 10 cents cheaper to make it worth my while- and that wasnt even taking into consideration the cash back that i still get from home depot for being a pro xtra member LOL!), they refused due them not seeing enough activity from me in the past while... and then had the nerve to say well you dont get the service you do through home depot as you do with us, you pay for the cleint experience or something LMAOOO well let me tell you Home Depot Pro Desk in Newmarket has been the best experience that I have ever received actually! I send them an email and they will have my order ready within an hour - if they happen to be out of something they call other stores to try and accomodate my urgent needs- even when they are hectic busy!! and the client experience with them is above and beyond!! Im sorry buddy but for you to try throwing another vendor under the bus meanwhile your customer experience is horrible and this last time around i have been waiting over 2 weeks for one cost to get an order over 1k finalized... had to call you to follow up!! AND then you give me nothing but attitude when your prices are higher anyways... AND then you tell me oh well quotes are only valid for 10 days so i will have to re-process or something... YEAH, NO! i have been waiting on you guys to finalize prices, therefore, dont even think of revising quote to higher prices than they already are just because you never followed up on the email sent to you!I legitimately picked up whatever they had in stock (Overlooking other prices because i was tight on time- to find out after i paid quite a bit more for a ton of pieces then i would have at home depot!!) and then cancelled the rest of the order - i got completely rude behaviour by them, but wasnt expecting anything better after that phone call!Sorry but i will no longer be dealing with this location unless its solely with Phil and prices become worth my while, and even for Phil, his customer service skills are way beyond what this location deserves, its not fair that he has to pick up slack,,, i suggest he goes elsewhere where he doesnt have to be the only one picking up the slack and exceeding customer expectations.

This place has very knowledgeable staff very courteous and go above and beyond to help there customers. Ken, Harry and Amy are really friendly on the counter and provides me with great advice on products and they are not afraid to make calls to get you the right part for the job. Mike is a great manager who always looks after customers whether the have a account with wolseley or if they are the general public. Great place... Keep up the good work!

The gentlemen managing the store went above and beyond to help me. To the point that even though he did not have the part (no plumbing hardware store would) he went into a box of returns to capture the part I needed and gave it to me at no charge. Truly exceptional!

My husband went into this wonderful store today and dealt with Krista and Ken. We bought two dual flush toilets from Bath Depot in East Gwillinbury and were not installed right away as they were for reno's. Bath Depot told us not to worry and if there was anything wrong they have all the parts. Well we had an issue with one of the toilets. The fastner that keeps the dual flush attached to toilet tank cover was missing. We went to Bath Depot and they were no help wanted us to order a whole knew part and pay for it and did not know if the faster came attached or the plumber had to attach it. We left went to Home Depot and someone at Home Depot recommended Wolseley Plumbing. Ken from Wolseley was amazing tried to find something that worked for us and he did and he gave it to us for free. I am amazed at the kindness and excellent customer service that was provided. I would highly recommend Wolseley Plumbing and will return if we ever need anything plumbing related.

Had a very unique basement drain problem. Was told to try Woleslely’s Plumbing. First time going there. I was encouraged when I saw a commercial plumbing truck customer parked outside their door. They must be good if the pros use them. Spoke to a very helpful customer rep who turned out to be Mike the Manager. I explained what I needed and Mike diligently searched most of the store to get me the parts I needed to replace my old drain. This was not an easy task as it took Mike quite a while to find the right parts. But he never gave up and made sure I had everything I needed.Most other employees at box stores would have given up on me and typically their in stock selection and expertise is limited.Mike and his team are up for any challenge and really know their stuff. This is a great resource for anyone needing plumbing parts and advice on fixes. Will go there first next time. Really appreciate your determination Mike. I have my new drain in place and everything fits as you predicted. Well done!

Reviewing as someone that has close to no knowledge of plumbing.2 take aways:- If you’re looking for a replacement part you should try searching online first- If you have to go to the store, make sure you know the brand/make of the partBased on my interaction, they assume you already know the details of what you’re looking for so make sure to know the make of the part, or the counter staff won’t be able to help you at all. The last thing you want is to travel the distance, and get told there’s nothing they can do. I was looking for a cartridge replacement, and was redirected to Canadian Tire. Was told that sourcing parts takes hours of time, and makes very little margins for the company so they don’t normally do the sourcing.2 stars because at least there was some sort of direction I could try, the whole in store experience was rather displeasing. Other reviews of staff attitude and poor communication with customers is accurate especially if your tolerance for sarcasm is low.

I spent half a day going from one big box store to another trying to find a replacement ceramic cartridge for my leaking shower handle. I finally ended up at Wolseley trying to find some very unique washers and was shocked when Ken came out with an entirely brand new cartridge unit! He saved me the grief of trying to use old parts that likely would not have solved the problem! Excellent customer service and I will certainly start there the next time I have a plumbing issue! Thank you again!
