Camp Dore

The only good part about staying here was the company we brought. A little bit of maintenance would go a long way. Accidents waiting to happen all around the property. Can never find someone when u need them....wouldn’t stay here again even if it was free!

Cabins are extremely small, beds are very low quality and bedroom is also too small. Either prices ought to be lower or cabins ought to be larger!

Great getaway! The beautiful cottages oversee Key River, with easy access for boat launching and Georgian Bay, and Grundy Lake Provincial Park. It’s a great place for fishing, swimming and hiking. Attila and Beata were great hosts. Thank you for an amazing week!

Fishing was great on the Key River. Boat we rented for a week leaked. A lot. Had to bail 12 inches out of it each morning. otherwise, it ran great

Highly recommended !It was a good experience with the new owners, price 100 CAD / 2 people / night, additional guest price 10 CAD! Extra. It was a surprise for us: new mattresses in the cabin, clean and fresh everything, and organized outside as well. So we had a very nice weekend there, the guys had a lot of fun during the fishing, women had a nice , calm, relax time.Thank you Camp Dore !

It is absolutely amazing! You can easily reach out to the owner if you have any questions. If you want to fish you can in the camp as well as the surrounding provincial parks. Cabins are clean, have heating systems, working washrooms, and have a homey feel. If you want to relax and enjoy a vacation, go to Camp Dore!

We have been coming to Camp dore now for a number of years. Both previous & new owners are respectful & very accommodating to our needs. Atilla & Beada have been upgrading the cabins. New mattresses, TV & DVD players... Cabins are clean & well kept. We would definitely recommend Camp dore! - oh, did I mention the fishing is great also!Brian & Sheryl

This is the perfect place for a getaway! The cabin was cozy and clean , as well as all the facilities of the resort.The mattresses were hotel quality. The views and the water were incredible, and the owners, Beata and Attila couldn't be nicer. This place makes you feel like you're in a different world. Would definitely recommend staying here with friends or family!

Fuel line on my motor decided to quit early morning after driving a couple hours to fish. Before packing up, made a quick call to the camp and the owner said to pop by. Expecting to pay an arm and a leg for a new can and fuel hose, the owner went above and beyond by loaning me his hose and tank to use for the rest of our day not knowing me from a hole in the wall. Not only that, but he boated me back to where I had to tie my boat up for the time being instead of carrying everything all the way back. Before leaving I stopped back in to pay for the fuel used and return the can. I was a little later than I said I would be and didn’t get a chance to talk to him. On my way back home he called me to ask if everything went ok and how we made out. Thank you again for the OUTSTANDING service!!!!!!!!!!
