Gogo's Christmas Tree Farm

Have gone to Go Go's for over 20 years and have always had a great tree. Until last year (2021) the trees were in rough shape, but as it was a family tradition we cut down what we thought was a half decent one . Bad idea. Lots of dry limbs and barely made it through Christmas (thank goodness for LED lights). Now, that it is almost time to go and find a Christmas tree, sad to say we are not to sure about going back. It just seemed that the trees were not cared for.

Awesome! One of the best X-mas experiences you could possibly imagine! This was our first time and plan to make this a X-mas tradition every year to come. The roads were safe and well maintained.

I was unimpressed today while going to get our tree. The Gogo family had neglected to salt or pole their already narrow and unsafe roads.Not cool! Hope everyone stays safe out there this year!

I live near it and it is my go-to source for you Christmas trees. They even give out free chocolates!

What a great experience!The tree farm is just 10 min outside south Nanaimo-as you drive in you are met with a welcoming committee offering you a hand saw and chocolates!Any tree is $30.00 so off we go!Finally found” the one “for us,cut it down and tie it to the roof rack.They take cash as you leave at the gate or any payment cards at the office.And always offering you more chocolate!!The terrain is wet(it’s winter in B.C.!!!) so wear proper footwear to tramp around the fields in-flip flops not recommended!!You are doing it all yourself so bring along your tough family members for tree hoisting and carrying and cutting purposes!!Farm fresh tree smelling great in the living room is the end result!Great for the environment too,as the trees are replaced and more grown all the time making it a great “green” choice.This is our second Christmas at the tree farm and we love it and will be back again next year!

Your kindness on the news in the wake of your fire was exemplary. Hope it is a great year for you regardless of the loss of trees on your farm.

Suggest suitable tires and attire for the weather

Well....never more happy to go out and actually cut down a Xmas tree. The family owned tree service is so well run and the gal, at the desk is extra special. They even handed us a saw to cut down any size tree we liked. They are so well priced but we would have paid more just for the experience. Kids had so much fun we will do it all over again. We would like to thank Mike and Karen for their honest to goodness great time we had at their tree farm. We even found out that Mike has a few Best Seller books on the Gogo family Island adventures. We picked up copies of book 1 and 2. What a ride!
