I went to see this doctor for an issue involving my tonsils, which in my case they are incredibly painful, and cause constant irritation.I was met with ignorance, and a comment of “my eye is sore, that doesn’t mean I cut it out”. Which was extremely shocking from a professional.

Stay away from this physician! He is the most arrogant doctor I have ever come into contact with. I have 35 years' experience in the medical field, and no one has ever come close to this man.I was new to the area, so my family doctor referred me to him. I'd had an ENT in Toronto for 20+ years. Doctor Wiesenthal told me that there is no way a physician would do what I said my previous ENT did.   Once he examined me and saw that what I told him was true, he told me that was not a reasonable solution and he would not handle my condition that way.  It is a reasonable treatment plan and has been for many, many years.  I did not appreciate his disregard for my previous ENT who is a renowned physician in ear disorders.  Dr. Wiesenthal's plan was much more invasive.Just to top it off, he wanted me to have a hearing test. No hearing test was ordered by my family doctor, nor did he ask me when I had my last hearing test. This was simply a maneuver for him to be able to bill OHIP for that service.For so many reasons, shame on you Dr. Wiesenthal.  I don't understand why, but you're lucky to have such a lovely secretary.  By far, the only shining light in your practice.

Terrible experience. I went there with a referral from my family doctor and the answer I got was I think I know what you have. Let me talk with a colleague and you will get a letter in the mail" ... That was April 2021 and I am still waiting for the letter in the mail. Of course I went to see another doctor

From walking in the door & giving my info to the welcoming receptionist to going into the office & waiting no time at all this was a great appointment. Dr Wiesenthal came in, asked a few questions, did a thorough but fast exam and did his procedure. He is a very gentle doctor & was efficient, fast & friendly. I was in & out in less time than it took to drive from Paris. Would definitely recommend this doctor

Dr. Wiesenthal is knowledgeable, thorough and has a great bedside manner. I have a really hard time with intrusive exams that are naturally part of ENT medicine in general and Dr. Wiesenthal is one of the few specialists I have found to be patient and validating about my anxieties. Highly recommended!

Dr. Alain Wiesenthal is fantastic. Truly a master in his field.He is professional, courteous, and respectful. I am fortunate to be his patient - I have much respect for the breadth and depth of knowledge that he has attained, in his many years of providing care.Administrative/reception staff are welcoming and perfectly in synch with Dr. Wiesenthal, to provide prompt attention with incoming appointments.Locations are attentive of COVID protocols - little things like having a mask ready for you if you forgot yours, go a long way.Thank you!(I left this identical review for the Dundas location)

Dr. Wiesenthal listened to my concerns. Never been to an on-time doctor. Very efficient. Great bedside manner. Very much respect his ability to diagnose and treat.

Dr Wiesenthal is an extraordinary, outstanding, impressive physician His skill sets and analytical ability are not only brilliant but also superior to any other doctors in the medical profession. He is precise in asking poignant and relevant patient case history. He is patient, competent, compassionate and above all else he is medically correct. I have been presenting my symptoms for 5 years, and have been treated for chronic sinusitis but it wasn’t chronic sinusitis. There were days that I could barely talk since my throat was so sore, or produced copious amounts of mucous for two and one half hours consecutively. The horrific discomfort I grew accustomed to until I just couldn’t take it any longer. Fortunately, I was referred to Dr Wiesenthal by my astute family doctor .Dr Wiesenthal diagnosed acid reflux and put me on the correct medication. The results were phenomenal, and immediate. I can breathe, no longer constantly have any post nasal discomfort and discharge. I feel so healthy and wonderful, again, due to the brilliant skills, insightful brilliance, and outstanding diagnosis skills of Dr Wiesenthal. I simply cannot thank him sufficiently for his excellent care , professionalism and superior intelligence.

I found Dr. W. to be very efficient, to the point, I don't need any fluff, he attended to my needs very quickly and I was out of the office in 15 mins. He stated if things were to return then to come back, I called for another appointment and was seen very quickly, another quick apt and very efficient. He is a doctor not your friend, he is doing his job, I don't understand all the negative comments. He is great. I would recommend him to friends. His receptionist is great also.
