Newton's Fine Drycleaning

After 3 years I never expected ANY acknowledgement from you and how you ruined one of my Vintage items. The very idea that you could claim this issue is resolved on a post I made 3 years ago under my Pin-Up name is insanity to me. I maintain my original post. You ruined an irreplaceaceable item and showed zero care or remorse.No my name was Amy. The vintage garment in question is still in my possession. I don't even have a friend named Sarah.

Customer service was fine, I can't blame the person at the counter but I'm a student and there is no discount for students. ForI had like 6 blazers, a pea coat and 2 bloses and they wanted nearly $200. Said that is comparable to dry cleaners everywhere when though they use environmentally and health frendly and safe wet washes. If that is true, there is a massive problem with the entire industry. I bought each of those items at the women in need store for less than $15 a piece. It would have been cheaper to chuck them and get a whole new wardrobe! Instead I took them all home, spot washed what needed to be cleaned, used febreeze fabris refresher and ironed them all myself. Done and done and I got to keeo my money for the equally ridiculous prices of textbooks in post secondary.

I had a situation with my dress 2 days before my wedding and I desperately needed it steamed! It was so badly wrinkled it looked like I had slept in it after getting it back from my seamstress. I’m so lucky that Newtons was able to fix this on a rush and so beautifully. Thanks again for your amazing service and you seriously saved my day!

This is such a friendly family owned business. They lady I spoke to on the phone was so lovely and the husband (he does the pick ups and deliveries) is also super friendly and very accommodating might I add. I had a wedding gown that was bought off the rach so it definitely needed to be cleaned before the wedding. They did a great job. They work with your timeline. And it was super quick! I'm definitely going to bring my dress back to them for cleaning in the near future!

A local dry cleaner that did not clean up. Dropped off 2 sweaters and a blazer. I asked for rush service and the fastest they could do was 2 days. My sweater came back with a stain on it, but they did not tell me the stain did not come out. The owners are friendly, but transparency would have been appreciated. I found the prices to be very competitive.

Amazing service. I don’t even live in Calgary but absolutely will make the drive to this dry cleaners, Naomi and her staff are the only people i trust with my clothing.They always do their utmost best to get any stains out, and are very honest in their business— they won’t try to rip you off and give you false promises like other cleaners i’ve been too. I have had multiple items of my clothing dry cleaned, altered and even hemmed from Newton’s Fine dry cleaning, and have nothing but good praise for this establishment. I am always pleased with how my clothing turns out. Best dry cleaners I’ve been to. Love that it is a family business makes the service that much more friendly. Also love the jelly beans— but who doesn’t. Highly recommend.

I had a stain on my suit pants and I'm not even sure what it was. It was almost like glue or something and I couldn't even fully wipe the goo off myself. I was worried it wouldn't come out or would damage the fabric. I brought my suit here to be cleaned and now the stain is gone without a trace. Nice work! Friendly staff too.

I flew in from Seattle a few nights ago and when I went to get my wedding suit together and noticed several stains. I live up in the NW area. I was in the south and got some shirts dry cleaned at Newtons. It was my first time in the shop and I was welcomed nicely. Picked up the shirts a couple days after and they came out absolutely pristine. Not only are these guys very polite and friendly, they can do a awesome job. Will be coming here again.Thanks!
