The two fellows that operate the shop are great and very helpful ! They are excellent Kilt makers and have a wonderful selection of accessories for your home and wardrobe ! I have just purchased several pairs of socks and for course a new Kilt !! The workmanship on this Kilt is to say the least - superior !! The Kilt has been pleated to the darker colors !! I'm 100% satisfied with the quality of my New Kilt !!

Great service, low key and helpful. We planned ahead and my kilt was ready well early. Jackson and Justin are full of knowledge, the store is well supplied with accessories, but they let you shop with no high pressure sales techniques. Kilts can be made with Velcro instead of straps, and are made in house with three pockets! Justin even offered to make two masks with leftover Murray of Atholl cloth. My Crail jacket and vest fit perfectly and I got a custom designed sporran for a good price. My wife bought me the outfit for our anniversary and we are both incredibly happy with our purchases. Highly recommend this local shop!

I have two kilts built by two different shops. My Canadian Maple Leaf tartan is a full 8 yd 16oz wool tartan from Locharron Mills in Scotland.....The fabric is gorgeous and it is more enhanced by the skill, care, and attention to detail Jackson and Justin took in explaining the kilt building process and measuring involved . I also bought a brown hunter sporran, kilt belt, and mustard yellow hose through them.......I COULDN'T BE HAPPIER with the selections offered and the service they gave me. They kept me in the loop as far as the building of the kilt so I knew exactly where I was in the queue and how long my wait was going to be......I can highly recommend them both in quality of product and service. A lovely shop, run by a charming and friendly fellow.Lots of accessories and other options to connect with.The scarves and ties stuck to us on our visit.If you're considering your first kilt, it is more than you might expect, yet surprisingly affordable, considering that they are hand made.That said, I am certain you absolutely get what you pay for.Would love to return again soon.

Very friendly and very knowledgeable staff, and accommodating in custom ideas. I first met the boys" at my first highland games in Victoria and got my shawl in the Thompson Camel and I have to say it was love at first sight as I wear it almost everyday and sometimes even on a sunny warm day (I hate being cold) and I also got my family clan pin as well and it was awesome to see that after seeing the thousands of people at the highland games that when I asked if they had broches and I was handed the family clan pin which was awesome to see that I'm a valued customer to remember my lastname"

I had a super positive experience interacting with Jackson, Justin, and Chris. They were all very knowledgeable and helpful when I was choosing tartan, sizing, and choosing a style of kilt construction for a woman my height. The workmanship and care put into my kilts is superb. I was gobsmacked to discover that my kilts were made with THREE pockets!!! All tucked secretly into pleats or the inside front. This is life changing… lol.I look forward to wearing them as much as possible… because they are long overdue in my closet! Thank you for the amazing service and quality of craftsmanship. We popped in while waiting for our donair from Top Dog next door. What a wonderful surprise. Justin Guthrie is a wonderful fount of knowledge who was happy to speak with is about the intricacies of tartan pattern history, and the greater scope of the past and more recent historical context of significant sets. Truly fascinating, plus my husband discovered he is a fan of the lovely Isle of Skye pattern. Definitely worth a visit on person, but also online if you find yourself in need of some Celtic kit.
