Good for a family outing

Great place to go for a walk just like Stanley park. Our local city park, safe ,clean, a great place I love to walk around.

Yesterday was my first time stepping out of the house in years. I suffer from an autoimmune disorder and respiratory issues, so sometimes it's hard to get out. But whenever I do go for a stroll, it's usually through Holly Park.The weather was perfect to watch a baseball game going on, as well as a cricket match. We saw families picnicking while their children laughed giddily in the kiddies park.We walked from one end of the park, past the community swimming pool, to the other end, where the community garden is, and went shopping in the nearby strip mall. Then home again, swinging past the boarded rink where there was yet another cricket match going on.The only reason I couldn't give it 5 stars is because there are always too many people smoking in the park, or sitting right on the edge of it smoking in groups. As big as the park is, I had trouble avoiding the smokers. It was sad to see people standing right outside of the kiddies park smoking as well.Apart from that, Holly Park is a wonderful place to go with your soul mate, family, or just for a solo stroll.

This is one of my favourite pools because it's usually not too busy. My other favourite is Kwanlan Park pool. When it rains no one is there and you get the whole pool to yourself! Water is so warm on rainy days. Love it!

Beautiful park in summer time. Winter.. no body cares about it .. icy.. slippery... My boys had fun for 10 minutes before to get cold though

Personally for me it is very important that the park is safe and clean. The children get along very well. The play area is clear so that parents can see what the children are doing from every angle

Very nice clean park with swimming pool and lots of tree shades in the summer. There's also halfcourt basketball and multipurpose games court.

It's getting better but rough at the same time. Poor guy who has had a rough life was sleeping in the lacrosse rink. We played in our own section but still buddy was full on sleeping there. I hope he does better but other than that it's a pretty neat spot.It's limited with a baseball diamond small size. Gravel soccer field, a one hoop basketball court, some Picnic tables. It's a good spot for at least a few hours till it wears out on you.711 and local convenience store right on the perimeter.
