One of the best B & B experiences in my life! – from booking to checkout. Even before we met, I knew that I would like the owner, Dawn Airy. She is kind-hearted, friendly, helpful and an incredible host!We had the suite, which is just perfect if you’re looking for sound protection from snoring. The rooms were charming, comfortable, clean, and each had its own thermostat. Between the quiet location and the sheets to die for, we each slept better than we had for weeks!To top it all off, Dawn’s gourmet breakfasts also deserve 5 stars – wonderful combinations of culinary imagination and local flavour. And they all have gluten free options! She made us feel completely at home with her friendly, warm and cheerful manner. Made us want to come back, and when we do, we wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else. It really is a home away from home!

Dawn gave a truly wonderful experience and has set the bar high for hospitality. I have never had that much care and detail put into a stay. The facilities and rooms were clean and well presented and the food was simply delicious. She knew I was on an outdoor course so she offered to have my breakfast ready to grab and go and even offered to do my laundry as she knew I was going to get muddy. Dawn you’re awesome!

Our family of four stayed for 2 nights to explore the area and do some skiing over March break. Dawn was super quick on email giving us lots of tips about which ski hills to visit nearby and offering a cot for one of our kids. Once we got there in person, she greeted us with a warm welcome and made us feel at home - even dried our soggy mitts after a wet day on the hill. The breakfast was absolutely fabulous - definitely a great surprise. We'll definitely be back!

Stayed here for a weekend for a family wedding. The house is in a great location, a short walk to stores, as well as some really nice hiking trails if you're into that. The rooms had everything you would need, and perhaps most importantly the beds were extremely comfortable. On top of that, Dawn is a phenomenal host, we felt very welcome and our breakfasts were an absolute treat, highlighting local ingredients and freshly made. 10/10 highly recommended.

We only stayed for one night but was still treated amazingly by Dawn. We received a free upgrade to a nicer room, with lots of complementary amenities (popcorn, hot chocolate, tea, toothpaste, toothbrush etc). We also get discount for activities around town when staying here, which is nice. Dawn was also proactive in letting me know when the room was ready before we arrive. Would totally stay again if I return to Wakefield!

Dawn runs a fantastic establishment! Loved the experience so much on my eastbound road-trip that I made sure to stay again on the way back west. Thanks again for the wonderful experience Dawn, you're a gem.

My parents and I have the pleasure of visiting Dawn’s B&B. She has created a welcoming and friendly environment where the rooms are super clean, while the food itself is amazing. She also provides excellent customer service and is fantastic with her communications. What’s great is that all of this is at an affordable price. Thanks Dawn!

My friend and I went on a little getaway for her birthday and we decided to stay with Dawn at Petit Chum. From the very first email until we said goodbye, Dawn gave the absolute BEST experience we could have possibly asked for.#1 the food was DELICIOUS and there were so many options to pick from that made it easy for us as we are vegetarians.#2 our room was private, clean, safe, and on top of that had a gorgeous view of the hills.#3 Dawn was there whenever we needed anything and always responded to our texts with a prompt reply. We had some car troubles one day and it was because of her that we got a mechanic out to help on his day off and did not have our trip ruined. She is the absolute best host!Both my friend and I cannot wait to come back to Wakefield and stay with Dawn again! If you’re looking to stay in the area I would 1000% recommend Mon Petit Chum B&B.

Dawn is a warm, welcoming, kind, knowledgeable host. It is a lovely convenient location. The room was well equipped and clean. The food provided was very substantial, made with local ingredients and incredibly tasty! Anything you need Dawn will provide or take the time to find out where you can get it. You can tell Dawn takes pride in her business and is a people person. Highly recommend Auberge de Mon Petit Chum!!!
