Depend-A-Dor

We received excellent service from Depend A Door. Daryl Hitchens the owner of the long established family business answered the phone and was extremely helpful. He rearranged his mechanics schedule to fit us in that day. I hadn’t told him that our car was stuck in the garage. Darren the mechanic was wonderful. He phoned ahead to say that he was on his way. He was polite, organized and replaced the two garage door springs on our double-wide door very efficiently. He also did a general lubrication and bolt tightening of the door. He had been with the company for many years and spoke highly of his boss. The cost was far less than I had been quoted by other companies so I was very pleased. I have no hesitation in recommending this company for garage door work.

Broken spring on our garage door. Next day service as our vehicle was outside. Great communication on when they would arrive. On time and fixed in under 30 mins. Definitely recommend.

Had our door serviced for a broken spring. Normal wear and tear. Thought the job was done properly, but today the safety cable slipped off its spool and when the garage door went down the door dropped down and wedged open. Our son was leaving the garage when it happened. The response to fixing this was that this was not an emergency and there was no residential service on the weekend. After explaining what happened, the reply to that was that garage doors are inherently dangerous. Really? It was the safety cable system that had failed!My specialty is not understanding how garage doors are safely set up. That is why I hire persons that are supposed to have that knowledge. I would expect much more than a garage door failure a month after the repair. Not using these guys again!

Had my garage door serviced due to a broken spring. Prompt and efficient service the technician was very knowledgable. Paid exactly as quoted, no surprises. Highly recommended and will be using this company for any future garage door repairs.

My Dad’s 5 panel roll up garage door had an issue over the weekend and required asap service. I contacted Chrissy at the front desk first thing Monday morning and explained our situation She was very courteous and helpful in organizing a service technician to attend that same day. The technician, Levi, called me as soon as he was available in the early afternoon and met me on site promptly. Levi was great! He fixed our problem and had the door operating smoothly before we knew it. He also gave us some great advice on how to operate and maintain the door to avoid problems in the future. We really appreciated his assistance and advice. If all the techs are like Levi, I’d highly recommend Depend a Door.

Our experience with Depend-A-Dor was excellent from start to finish.Krissy was excellent to deal with and to set up the appointment.Levi arrived in time, explained the problem and fixed it. Marluz arrived to replace the weather stripping. It was a pleasure to deal with this company and their employees.

I highly recommend Depend-a-Dor. Prices and service were both excellent. The service technician, Darren, was very honest in giving me all the options and did not try high pressure sales techniques (like another company). They sell Canadian products (unlike another company) and I was very happy with the work done. Everyone that I dealt with was friendly and efficient. Great job!

It has been a pleasure to deal with this company. Our condo building needed a fire-rated door to bring it up to code, and all the employees at Depend-a-Dor, from in-house staff, to installers, were prompt, courteous and professional in satisfying our needs.

“Depend” is without a doubt the absolute best word to use to describe Depend-A-Dor. Our entire yard is fenced, and a gate is at the start of our driveway that we had always used a clicker to open. People who regularly work at our home also have clickers. Someone’s clicker apparently did not work, and they forced the gate open and broke it so it remained open. We are so thankful Kelly is at the company. We also called a competitor, and found out they had installed the gate, but we were not happy we’d have to wait 3 weeks for service, but thought we should use them. Then, Kelly called us. She was following up, and said her team could come out immediately. We said “awesome”.Her service guy repaired the gate, got the clicker working, AND installed a key pad. Plus, the price was more than fair. The other company believed the gate could not be repaired, and a new one would cost around $10,000.00Use this company. You don’t need to call anyone else. It is the best in every category of business: Dependable, trustworthy, efficient, know their products, and work with you in a very timely fashion.,
