AVOID THESE SCAMMERS. CONVICTED OF DEFRAUDING CLIENTS. Provided quote ($6000) and timeline. Did not honour either. Guys were late, slow and ill equipped. I had to run to canadian tire to buy tools to disassemble furniture. I get the bill and its 3 times the quote ($20,000). They decided they needed to wrap your stuff" and wrapping wasnt included in quote. That was an extra $12

I used Bedwell to move my son s sailboat and belongings across the country. Lisa handled my details and everything went very smoothly.I look forward to using them again, this month when we move.

After publishing my review Mr David Bedwell, director of Bedwell Moving reached out to me via the response posted below. We did talk a few days later and clarified a few issues. It came clear that both side have a different perception and the important thing is they did agree in refunding the shuttle service that was not used.As customers we become impatient when thing are not resolved fast enough with companies. However, Mr Bedwell did listen and he did correct the situation. If you encounter any problem please do contact them as they believe in improving and correcting any mistakes they make. Let this one rest to peace and thank you David for listening and taking your time, it is important to your customers to have the issue resolved.__________________________________________________________________First published:The major complained is not keeping their end of the deal regarding a charge on a shuttle service that was not performed as they put the charge anyway under miscellaneous. So be careful on extra charge. Otherwise they were expeditious and efficient in the move from an out of province location. Also watch for what the booking agent, dispatcher will tell you. They say many time that did not get my message but in fact they did, as I confirmed with the person that I had left the message originally. They are not always proactive on follow up call if you are trying to get your bill corrected. Other then being charged extra the move was without incident, a bit late on the time announced to their delivery, we had to wait 2. 5 hours before they got to our place. The agent should have made a follow up as to not loose our time as she knew there were still offloading somewhere else. No moving company is perfect but being lied and charge for a service not rendered is not your best option, choose wisely and good luck.I have also used the full packing service at a cost of $150 per hour, so at that rate ensure you are being billed properly, it goes fast.

We were very impressed by how accommodating and adaptable Bedwell Moving was to our needs. We had a lot of stuff to move out of our house to load into our new house and the guys at Bedwell did an amazing job and were very professional and careful with all our belongings including our baby grand. With detailed moving logistics instructions from me, Kenny and his partner performed superlatively. Kenny quickly and accurately assessed, to the minute, how long it would take them to empty my apartment in T.O. and move me to my new home in Waterloo.I left, shortly, in a cab, before they did. I arrived in Waterloo 15 minutes before them, and in no time they had me unloaded, arranged and reassembled my furniture, and neatly and expertly stacked my 21 boxes in my new unit, so I could access all the suite amenities, including my bed, which I needed my first night home.Consequently, they were so efficient, my estimate was right on the money, and I'm extremely pleased with the service and the price.I not only highly recommend the company, but suggest asking for Kenny and his partner. They are highly efficient, skilled and professional, and obviously take great pride in doing a stellar job for their clients. The experience was definitely worth it!

Similar to others, damaged items, changes in dates and loss of items. A large leather La-Z-Boy couch (current value close to $8000) was lost" as well as two front legs to a La-Z-Boy recliner. They said they would find replacements and did very little to help in that regard. We did hours of research to find what we needed but the couch was still no where near what they had "lost". The legs to the chair cost several hundred dollars and still don't exactly match our other furniture. The whole living room suite has been destroyed due to the negligence of Bedwell Moving. AVOID THIS COMPANY. Unreliable. I unfortunately hired them for a Oshawa to Ottawa move in 2021. They delivered a week later than they said, some items didn’t arrive, some items arrived broken, and they were very dishonest in their pricing. Was so irritated thinking back and realized I never did leave a review.

Just moved on the weekend everything was great the 2 men was on time and I would recommend Bedwell movers to anyone.

I’m not someone who writes reviews. In light of the Marketplace Undercover Investigation of moving companies scamming people…I wanted to speak up. I hired Bedwell movers from Ontario CA to Georgia USA. They were pretty close with their quote to the final weight on the scales. The teams on both ends were friendly efficient and extremely careful with my belongings. Everything got wrapped in moving blankets! Everything made it off the truck in Georgia and into the house—in place—!!!Some minor damages that come along, (and are to be expected) with long distance moves occurred, but overall I was extremely happy!!!!Use this company!! Put your faith in the fact that they will do their best to make your move as easy as they can —and as stress free as possible!Jennifer

Had a great experience with Bedwell. So knowledgeable. I felt at ease knowing my move would be taken care of in a professional manner. The movers were friendly and accommodating. They also worked very quickly. Would recommend them to anyone.
