Grand Codroy Rv/Tent Camping

First stop in trip to Newfoundland and what a lasting impression. RV park very clean and well laid out. Spacious, deep site allow for privacy while enjoying the beauty of Codroy Valley . Owners were very engaging and helpful. Truly ambassadors for this area. Nicest stop yet on this 2900 mile journey.

We had a fabulous night and day at Grand Codroy. The owners were fabulous and the campground is super nice! Wonderful facilities and laundry, cute craft store, a covered pavilion to sit in. Free wood for fire as well!! Thank you so much for the enjoyable stay. Also very close to the ferry.

Stayed here 2x in our Class A Motorhome towing (40ft rig, 64ft with toad). First stay was July 16-17th and Aug 6th-8th, 2022. Only approx. 30mins from the Port Aux Basques ferry port thus very convenient for us. Easy to find off the highway. Alice made us feel extremely welcomed upon check in and provided a newspaper with such amazing information on the family's story and the local area. Wish every campground did this! Sites were relatively easy to maneuver (we disconnected). Beautifully maintained grounds, good space between sites, super clean washroom facilities, and you cannot beat free firewood! Not a lot for kids in terms of playground but lots of open space for play and safe bike riding. Trail onsite although we didn't use it. There is also an amazing craft store onsite that sells local artists work. Great to be able to support local. All around great stay and would highly recommend.

Great spot to RV camp and tent! It's very quiet so I wouldn't recommend this place if you plan to party late. The location is amazing and along the Codroy Valley, not far from Port aux Basques. Sites are pretty open so do not expect much privacy. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. Also, there is laundry and a couple central washrooms and a great handmade craft shop. Fire wood is also free!

This is our third stay, and will always be our first stop when camping in NL. We have recommended GC to friends and everyone has been thrilled. Welcome and service is fabulous, very reasonable cost, extremely clean and well maintained and an ideal spot to explore this part of the island. Thank you so much!

Lovely campground, with delightful staff. The amenities are nice, including the sink for tenters to do dishes. The property is really clean, and has a beautiful view. The only reason I give this campground 4/5 is because the campsites are pretty out in the open. We only stayed for one night so it was perfect for us, somewhere to lay our heads very close to the ferry.

This was a last minute stay as our original off the ferry stay plan failed. The guys at check in were awesome, super friendly and helpful. There are 2 RVs traveling together and we really appreciated the helpfulness. Next morning we did a hike that was recommended and got back just in time for checkout. We booked a night for before the return ferry as well.

One of the best RV parks we stayed at. Very easy people to deal with. Very reasonable prices. Extended checkout, 2pm - wow! Even the firewood was complimentary. We liked the way the sites were laid out, very private and spacious. Great gift shop too!!

This Campground is so peaceful, well maintained and the owners are warm and welcoming. It's a great place to spend a couple of days as you arrive off the Ferry at Port Aux Basque and also before you leave. We are enjoying our stay, getting rested and cleaned up after exploring the rest of Newfoundland for the month of June.
