100 percent true to all reviews Unpleasant staff / store front,Including the lady who was doing the piercing .She aggressively said no filming ,no photos,no entry to a 63 years old mom holding her phone outside the room just doing her own thing /messaging while waiting for her daughter but saw her after, allowing one of the clients taking photos , filming and whole family was inside no problem.Rude staff!!! Spend your money to other piercing places with good staff,NOT RUDE AND BIAS!!!By the way her daughter gave a big amount of tip on top of over $200 plus before service ,then treated really bad afterwards. Cashier asks and signs in the rooms about tips really, in that case at least treat your clients nicely .Give tip amount back because it was such a bad experience.Waste and full of negative energy place!!!

They are extremely rude here. I went in for a piercing on earlier this month and was forced to lift up my shirt for inspection, in the middle of the store, in front of everyone walking past the store OUTSIDE. The employees working made me feel like a nuisance, they rushed me and made me feel stupid considering it was my first piercing, and the male employee that day made creepy actions towards me and being able to see my body. During all this all the female staff just laughed. I was not even upset about being denied my piercing, but instead at how awfully I was treated, like I was just some piece of meat. I will never be coming back here again and will be telling all my circles to not even bother with Body Jewlz.

I had a nice experience here getting my nose pierced. I came with my sister and we barely had to wait at all for our turn and they did a good job with both of our piercings. The piercer let us record which was very nice too. Lots of nice jewelry options too!

I have a severe needle phobia, and all the staff were incredible to be patient with me answer my questions and make me feel confident and safe to get my piercing done here. The folks at the register were very informative and helped answer all questions before I went in for my piercing.Josh was the piercing tech who did my ears and he was incredible! It was my first piercing ever since again, severe phobia! I mean hyperventilate, mega crying, shaking, you name it. He was so patient and calm, kind and supportive. I could not recommend him more especially for anyone very scared like me. He was also funny and made the whole experience fun instead of just scary and traumatizing.Anyways if you’re apprehensive, don’t be! Just ask for Josh and he’ll do great!Here’s a pic of my piercing right after my appointment. Since I was so stressed he didn’t fully wipe off the purple dye used to line up my piercing, I hitch was really nice. They’re in the perfect spot too! Very symmetrical

I went in today and Shayla, Sofia and Christina were there! I came in for a new piercing, and also a jewellery change out, Shayla and Sofia we’re such amazing help choosing out my jewellery for me, and helping me make a decision, and Christina was an amazingly professional piercer! Always a lovely time there but those three made it a great Sunday stop in!!

I had a second ear piercing done years ago but I had let it grow in. Decided to have it redone and my daughter recommended this establishment. This place is amazing! From start to finish the experience was calm and professional. Upbeat and welcoming atmosphere. So happy I came here and so happy with the results. Thank you !!!

This place is great for adult piercings but I don’t recommend them for children. The girl at the front was not very welcoming and kept asking my 4 year old daughter to “talk to her” and to “have a conversation” with her in order for her to get pierced. We understand consent is super important but she wasn’t asking any open ended questions and kept staring at my daughter, expecting a 4 year old to strike up a conversation with her. We ended up going to a tattoo shop downtown and the lady was great and was very welcoming. We had great hopes for this store but unfortunately they turn customers away without really trying.

I got my ears pierced here. The technician was really friendly and professional. The business is super clean. I didn't have a problem with this place despite some of the reviews being negative.

Absolutely lovely people and experience here. Came after a bad experience at Adrenaline and everyone was extremely helpful and kind. They helped get my piercings sorted over the course of a few visits and I will definitely be back in the future!

Have been here for 3 piercings in the past, was always lovely. Went in today to ask if they did anodizing, and the woman behind the counter was incredibly snappy and rude. When i told her what piercing it was for, she said “we don’t have anything in that length” cutting me off in the middle of my sentence before I even had a chance to tell her what length it was, and walked away. The other worker behind the counter even said “someone’s sassy today” in regards to her behaviour but did not try to further assist me (even though I had more inquiries.) Used to be great but seems with whatever new staff they’ve hired it’s become incredibly rude in there- I’d save your money and go somewhere where you won’t be treated abysmally as soon as you walk in the door.
