CIBC Branch with ATM

My general experience with this branch is quite pleasant. The only instance that I wasn't quite pleased to see was on one of my visits I noticed that a teller was particularly on edge and short with a customer. By her interactions with her coworker and some of the questions she asked, it was evident she was new. However, I found her to be quite bold to carry a tone and attitude she held, especially being new. I am glad I did not have to work with her during my visit that day, but other than that, so far this branch has been good to work with.

No doubt why the rating is so low for the branchStupid staff thinks the customers are stupid. Wanted to change my account from one type to another. Rep told me to wait and said the other person will help me change the account. Later he didn’t wanted to do the work so told me to call the customer Service and have it done on call. I have done this change before on different branch so i know it’s doable.Disappointed with the people at this branch.

I recently worked with Mr. Haribaksh at CIBC and they were outstanding in helping me with my financial needs. They were extremely knowledgeable, patient and professional throughout the entire process. Their guidance and support made what can be a stressful experience a breeze. I highly recommend Mr. Haribaksh and the team at CIBC for all of your banking needs.

They deserve zero starts if not negative.Walked into their office to open a business account. The lady told that we need to book an appointment. I couldn’t see any other customer. Happily banking with BMO.Let me give a detailed description as to this reaches the deaf ears of CIBC (as despite of so many negative reviews, they are still letting this branch spoil CIBC’s reputation).We do admit that I had gone to branch without appointment, but it was an urgent call. I used the words “sorry, but could we please workout a plan so that we can open my business account”.Reply was straight - NO. Yes, the woman rudely said “NO, you need to book online appointment”. She did not take my number or any such details. And this was a “business” account, not a personal one. The investment/deposits had a significant dollar value (more than my annual pay), I wonder how much business they lost.Anyway, we thought of giving it a second try, we went in and approached another personnel; we get the same response (slightly less rude this time).WE LEFT. I will be closing my association with CIBC. This was unacceptable, I admit that appointment was important, but I would categorize this as being extremely rude with zero mindset to benefit CIBC. I feel bad for banks employing such disaster employees.

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!The service was okay until I was encountered with K. Mohamed. We went to reactivate our card and she did not only waste an hour just to tell us that our account was already closed but also was very unhelpful when asked with certain questions about what should be done about the reactivation process. It would have saved us A LOT OF time if she just told us straight that our account was closed. Dealing with that, we were actually kind of glad that it got closed automatically.

Unhelpful staff. This bank should be named first in Canadian hall of shame.

The reason this branch is dead is because of its outstandingly horrible customer service there is only one teller. The line is huge and had to wit for 1hrs per person. Cause the person standing behind the computer doesn’t know what to do. The genaral manager is not helping at allCostumer service bery poor

Most of times it has 1 counter open. Be ready to wait 15-30 minutes. Hope they keep 2 counters open
