Lovely grocery store with lovely owners who are always welcoming and kind. This place is well known in the Thornhill Jewish community. Great place to get Kosher goods you can’t otherwise get at regular stores here. Highly recommend paying them a visit!

Absolutely love this store! I was looking for frozen falafel, asked the person at the cashier and got a choice of 2 different companies. Also, he advised which hummus to buy, and it was a wonderful choice! Made with love. Small and cozy authentic Jewish cuisine.

What an amazing store! I have never met an owner of a business before who was so not racist it’s incredible. Every product the store offers is so fresh it blows my mind. If you want a totally loved filled and welcoming experience go to Taste of Israel!

It’s disgusting that people are trying to sabotage a business simply because the owner is Jewish and the name of the place is Taste of Israel. These people are anti Semites. Ignore every single one of their reviews. Not one of them has ever even been. In fact some of these 1 star reviews are from people who aren’t even in Canada, lol.Here is a real review, because I’ve been there. The food is delicious but a little pricey. Nice people working there. It’s a local Jewish restaurant in a Jewish neighborhood. If you want to enjoy Jewish cuisine I recommend it. I would give this place a 4/5 but with the countless anti Semites giving this place a 1/5 I bumped my review to 5/5.

Found a dead mouse on one of shelves.Reported it to staff: they just shrugged and said it will be taken care of. Worst the worst contempt for customers and hygiene.

Nice store. I have shopped there many times. Great selection. Who knew so many Muslims came to Thornhill to shop here? and then they leave negative reviews within hours of each other? So much hatred from these people to come to the Jewish community and attack Jews getting ready for Sabbath.

Cute small place, but with so many good assorted kosher products, salads and food ready to go, abs so many options of sweet and goodies from Israel.
