University Off Leash Dog Park

This park is wonderful. Fully fenced in.Two gated areas. One for over 30 lbs and one for under. Lots of places to sit. It's astroturf but the good stuff. Not mushy. They also have rocks surrounding the astroturf and both pens have a small area with grass/trees/dirt.The larger park isn't still that huge. So if your big dog is a huge fetch player this parks probably isn't for you.The small park for under 30lbs was too small for my 10lb guy as I couldn't kick the ball very far to play. We moved over to the big park and he had a ball.Lots of new puppies who aren't socialized well. A few knocked my guy down & jumped on him.Really friendly dog parents who shared that there is always lots of new puppies here.Garbage cans in the area. Lots of seating. Area outside of the park is great too. Water feature next to the park along with ample seating.Only thing missing is a water bowl/ fountain for the dogs.

Great setup! There's two double-gated areas (one for small dogs specifically) and they are covered in good artificial turf so you don't have to worry about mud for the most part. Convenient location in a nice, new park, all of the humans and dogs in our party had a great time.

Clean and well set up off leash areas. Two separate areas for big and little dogs. Lots of room for the dogs to run, but small enough to work on recall and to keep an eye on smaller dogs

Great dog park. Fenced in separate spaces for large and small dogs. Turf with benches and concrete seating. Plants and trees in the fenced areas too for lots of dog peeing lol.Park on the south east side and take the pathway west towards the park.

Small, barely can play a game of fetch with my big dog. Probably Good for smaller dogs and possibly training, otherwise there's much bigger and better dog parks out there. Artificial turf and benches are a nice addition. Kinda a bummer, was so happy to have an offleash near me to only be disappointed. good for the apartment dwellers near by.

Personally I found it to be too small, it's good if you are training basic commands as it's a small area. It is fully fenced in thats the one good thing there is also a part for small dogs, and right beside it is the larger" park

Nice little fenced park at the UofC on 32 Ave NW before Market Mall.Has two areas, one for larger dogs and a smaller one next to it for smaller dogs but it's tiny, so took my small dogs into the larger enclosure. Most dogs seemed well behaved, which I can say I haven't found in other parks with larger dogs.

This is a great park for bringing small and low to moderate energy dogs. It is an excellent environment for training a puppy or for practicing recall off leash with any dog because it is such a manageable space. The turf makes this a very clean dog park, especially after rain - no mud!

There is 2 separate sides , one for small dogs and one for large dogs and it's double gated also . They should make more parks like this .

Small dog park with artificial turf, all brand new. One section is for small dogs and the other section is for large dogs. Very clean, fenced enclosures, lots of seating and garbage bins. There is a fountain nearby outside the dog park that was not working but looking like it was being worked on. Nice design.
