Moque Head Trailhead
We’ve been hiking this trail almost 20 years. The trail itself is a beautiful coastal trail. The only thing is, we went there last week (Summer of 2021) and there are now no trespassing signs from the home owner that the back of their house faces the trail. Something that’s been enjoyed for so long by so many families has now ended by the looks of it.

Trail is good up to Halls Pond, after that there is heavy spruce and tree falls. We ended up turning around at the top of the hill after we crossed the stream at Halls Pond. Lots of great places to take pics, you will need waterproof boots for crossing Halls Pond stream.

Very pretty spot. We visited in summer 2018. Also the easternmost paved point of the North American paved, public road network (the Trans-Labrador Hwy. still has nearly 400 km of gravel.

Drove an hour to this spot to see the trail is no longer accessable due to the property owner having many no tresspassing signs posted, such a shame
