We ordered a modular home with them and the experience was seamless! Great customer service, we got to choose all of the options that we wanted, and they were so patient with us with all of our many questions. Our home is beautiful! I love all the little details that we were able to add, and it is such a great quality. We will definitely recommend them to all of our friends and if we ever decide to purchase a home again they will be our go to! Thank you so much for our beautiful home!

BUYER BEWARE - NIGHTMARE AHEAD This review is based on my experience with Countryside Homes & RV in Bowden Alberta, and specifically dealing with Al Bustard - Owner / Sales. I toured a park model in May of 2022. After signing the contract and paying in full, things immediately began to fall apart.1. In speaking with Al Bustard, Owner / Sales, we were very clear that the unit if purchased would be off-grid and we wanted to be sure that all the appliances were powered by propane. Al assured us that they were. We discovered on our own, however, that the water heater was 220 electric. When we brought this up to Al and asked for monetary consideration because we would have to replace the electric water heater with a propane one, Al refused any assistance.2. We had a delivery date scheduled and were prepared to receive the model. When it didn’t show up, I called/texted Al and was told it would be delivered 4 days later. No one had called to tell us there would be a delay...which was not only unprofessional but it caused serious inconvenience to us, the buyers.3. Al told us that the delivery trucking company had delivered thousands of homes and that they could locate the home where we wanted it. When the driver showed up (4 days late), he complained about nearly everything I asked for; was uncooperative; unable to handle the positioning of the model; repeatedly got his rig stuck; and to get it delivered, I had to call a local construction company to bring out a loader…(at my expense), to assist with positioning of the home. The driver also told me several times that the trucking company was going to send me a supplemental bill of $15,000 for the delivery…despite the fact that I paid for delivery up-front as part of the purchase agreement. The driver was incompetent, uncooperative, and in complete contrast to Al’s assurances.4. Before receiving payment, Al told us that a “setup guy” would come out and get everything set up. When he came out, he said he doesn’t set up appliances; does not hook up electric; does not set up the propane line; does not hook up water (and he told me an incorrect way to hook up the water causing more time and frustration on my part); he left all vents taped up; etc. He was polite and tried to be helpful but the scope of what he was instructed to do was very limited, leaving me to set up and figure out most things on my own.5. Al told us that the appliances were propane (as already mentioned). However, we learned the hard way that Al’s plumber had changed most of the appliance’s orifices to natural gas, making them unsafe to use with propane. I looked at the appliance manuals and they say to have a trained professional change them to propane…which would be another expense that I would incur.From the time that I gave Al payment he has been mostly unresponsive, does not answer the phone, does not return calls, does not return texts. When I called the office and got through, a couple of times I spoke with George who was polite but had not been able to help me with anything, and each time he deferred to Al.If I had it to do over again, I would absolutely NOT do business with Al Bustard, or with Countryside Homes & RV.As I said at the top…BUYER BEWARE!
